Guestbook comments from the owner

This has been our second stay at this well maintained and equipped holiday home. Very often a returning visit is not as good as the first time, but this was certainly not the case this instance.

As with our first visit, we were personally greeted on arrival by the owner. The large selection of toys games, books and videos has increased and as last time, they kept our grandchildren amused throughout the week.

We would certainly recommend this house to our friends and family or anybody who was looking for a large reasonably priced holiday home.

Great...lovely large family home

  • 5 of 5

The place has all what you need from a large family vacation home; also having large gardens and nice walking trails nearby...not far from so many activities & the beach (within 30 mins) ....

The host Tony did everything to make it work for us. And the icing on the cake was the 'the chocolate cake' itself given by Tony as part of the welcome pack along with other basic stuff...

In all, lovely place to stay and enjoy time with the nature and close one around

Regards

Saurabh

Good location, great property, lovely weekend.

  • 5 of 5

I booked this property to surprise my wife with a family get together to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We had a large group staying at the house and another 40 guests for a day event.

The house itself was very comfortable with all mod cons and exactly suited our needs - a home from home - which was useful having many young children in our group.

The grounds themselves were superb as gave us the space we needed for a marquee, caterers, large bouncy castle and still loads of room for the kids to play and even create a football pitch.

Tony - the owner - couldn't have been more accommodating. He went over and above to help me keep the surprise and also accommodate deliveries and set ups etc. Whilst not being at all intrusive I knew he was always close by if we needed him but this wasn't neccessary as you really have all you need set up for you on arrival.

I thoroughly recommend this property and would consider using it again in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable house for a group in a picturesque country location.

Fantastic property with amazing grounds

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful property for a get together. Private if you book the annex as well. House is well equipped. The grounds make it - kids love playing rounders out on the lawn.

Wonderful for family get together

  • 5 of 5

We all had a wonderful time with weather to match. Children enjoyed the space to run around and the adults plenty of room to sit in the sun. Well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need and three fridges to cope with the demands of very large groups. Really can recommend this well managed house for adults and children.

Wonderful house for a big group

  • 5 of 5

We stayed as a party of four families - 14 of us in total - and it was a perfect size for our group. The house and the grounds are wonderful for children and the location was perfect, you felt you were in the middle of nowhere, but at the same time it wasn't too far from a shop or a village or the Tenterden steam railway. Tony was a wonderful manager, very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this to others.

Great for the whole family

  • 5 of 5

This was our second family gathering in this spacious and very well equipped house. Everything was clean and well organised. And there's plenty of space for the boys to play football in the grounds. Tony, the owner, is very helpful. We even found some welcoming supplies including milk and cakes.

This time we visited Rye and the Forestry Commission at Bedgebury. On a previous visit we went to the Port Lympne Animal Reserve. The Family had a great time.
