Newly Renovated Apartment - 2 Bedroom with Mezzanine (Sleeps 6) in La Daille
On entrance to the apartment you will see a spacious and modern Kitchen area with a breakfast bar to seat 4, we have tried to ensure that the Kitchen has everything available for a self catering holiday. The Kitchen is open plan to the lounge area which has seating for 6 (3 seater sofa, chair and 2 poufs), there is a TV, DVD player and bluetooth speaker available for your enjoyment. The Kitchen and lounge area is lovely and bright with beautiful countryside/mountain views towards Solaise and opens up on to a South East facing terrace.
There are two bedrooms on the same floor, the master bedroom shares the same views as the lounge and also has access the terrace. There is a large double bed (160 x 200), wardrobe and small dressing table/desk. The modern En-Suite bathroom has a bath with over bath shower, wash basis and toilet. The second bedroom has two single beds (90 x 200) and has access to the shared bathroom which has a walk in shower, wash basin and toilet. The 2 bedrooms and bathrooms have underfloor heating ideal for the winter months.
The apartment has a mezzanine level which is accessible from the lounge via a staircase, here you will find a large double bed (160 x 200) and two wardrobes so plenty of room for clothes etc.
The apartment has been completed renovated to a high standard, all the furniture and fittings are brand new for the 2017/2018 ski season and we have tried to ensure that everything is provided for a real home from home feel.
The apartment is on the 8th floor so has the advantage of having no one above and there is only one neighbour as it is end of line. Situated in the La Daille Soleil building it is only a short walk (5 minutes) to the La Daille ski lifts where you will find a ticket office for your ski passes and information. The building has a ski hire shop on the ground floor or alternatively there is another ski hire shop over the road in a small commercial centre where you can also find a mini market and cafe. The entrance to the block looks out on to the La Daille downhill so getting home is easy (no buses required) and there is a bar at the bottom of the slope for Apres Ski.
La Daille is just 5 minutes on the bus from the middle of Val Disere, there is a free bus service which operates every 10 minutes up to 20:00 and then every 20 minutes up to mid-night. If you have a car then there is an underground car park just below the building, this is an extra cost and we do recommend that you book in advance, there is also an open car park just a 5 minute walk up the road which is charged at a lower rate.

What makes this Apartment unique
When we first walked into this apartment we absolutely fell in love with the view, the apartment needed a lot of work but we knew by the end of the project we would have a beautiful bright living area and to wake up to that view each morning would be amazing. The location of the apartment was ideal for us, we love skiing down the La Daille downhill and knowing the apartment is less than a 5 minute walk away was a big bonus. Another big factor for us was that its on the top floor and at the end of the line so only one neighbour and no one above.

Beautiful apartment in a great location.
Beautifully presented, well-equipped apartment
I spent Feb half-term week here with my family (wife & 3 kids). The apartment was clean, warm, nicely decorated and very well equipped - has everything you could need! The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us. This apartment block is in a great location for ski-lifts and on main bus route into Val D'Isere. Highly recommended.

Home from Home
Fantastic apartment in La Daille. My partner and I had a brilliant stay here and loved how cosy yet modern the apartment was, a real home from home feel. You can tell Emma and Mike have put a lot of thought into it with so many personal touches and handy items. The kitchen is better equipped than mine at home!
The location was very handy with only a short walk across the road to the piste, with also a small supermarket and ski hire shop close by. The area is ideal for all skiing abilities and the locker on the ground floor of the apt for ski's/boots is perfect! We wouldn't hesitate to visit again and couldn't recommend it more.
Perfect holiday home for your alpine adventures
This beautiful apartment was the ideal base for our party of 6. My wife & I spent a week here with two other couples and loved every minute.
The apartment itself is finished to a very high standard and has a personal touch throughout which shows it has clearly been put together with love and care. It has all the facilities we needed and was so nice it even prompted us to spend a couple of nights in, cooking for ourselves and enjoying the beautiful view and calm surroundings over a few bottles of wine...
The location was also perfect for us, particularly being a group with mixed skiing levels - it's sits right at the bottom of La Daille's slopes which have long runs of blues and greens (for the less experienced skiers like me!) but also more challenging red slopes and the blacks a little further up. Being so close to the slopes was great as it meant we didn't have to lug our skis & ski boots etc very far.
It's just a five minute free bus ride from the heart of Val d'Isere so we felt like we had the best of both worlds here. The bus ran every 5-10 minutes and until the early hours of the morning, although we opted to walk back one night as it only takes around 20 minutes (plus 10 minutes to account for the inevitable late night snowball fight).
It also has easy access to Tignes via the gondola over the mountain.
There are a decent number of restaurants in the vicinity - one of our favourites was La Vieille Maison which was right next to the apartment. There are also some fantastic restaurants in VDI town - the apartment owners Emma & Mike kindly put together a list of their favourite places and top recommendations and we couldn't fault any of the ones we tried!
All in all it was a fantastic place to enjoy an equally fantastic holiday - highly recommended and can't wait to go back ourselves!
Great apartment in la daille
We loved every minute of our stay in this apartment. They are furnished to a very high standard and come very well equipped with everything you could need.
The location in La Daille is quieter than in the centre of val d’isere, but the apartment is extremely close to the slopes, as well as a supermarket, restaurants and ski equipment hire shop.
I would definitely stay here again and thoroughly recommend this apartment.
Fabulous ski break in Val D'Isere
We are a family of 5 and we booked this apartment for a last minute pre Christmas Ski break in December and what a fantastic place to be. We have stayed in the village centre previously but we loved the look of this newly renovated apartment and after chatting to the owners about links to the main village from La Daille we decided to give it a try and we would have no hesitation in booking again. The first thing we noticed on entrance to the apartment were the beautiful views. The apartment is on the 8th floor and waking up to uninterrupted mountain views on a morning was fantastic. The apartment is very well equipped, the Kitchen is much bigger than what you would normally get in an apartment of this size and had everything required to make our self catering holiday very easy. The beds were extremely comfortable, the double bed in the main bedroom is one of the most comfortable we have slept in and the duvets/bedding etc were all of high quality. Everything in the apartment is brand new and we wanted for nothing. We actually found that been slightly out of the centre and on the top floor meant that it was very peaceful in the evenings and the bus linking to the village was excellent (every 10 minutes during the day, every 20 minutes in the evenings and completely free. We will definitely book again.
There is a small commercial centre just across the road from the apartment building - here you will find a laundrette (not serviced), Mini Market, Cafe, Bar and Restaurant (500 meters).

Check in time is 4pm. Check out is 10 am. You will be met on arrival by our manager who will give you the keys and show you around the apartment. Minimum Age required to rent the apartment is 25 years old and the person who books the apartment must stay at the apartment for the entire rental period. Sub-letting or parents renting for their children under the age of 25 is not allowed. No student groups or house parties of any kind.
