About the property

Ideal winter and summer holiday location

A lovely two bedroom apartment. Refurbished in 2017 to a high standard in a contemporary luxury chalet style. Two minutes walk to main 'Sairon' chair lift. 5 minutes to les esserts chair lift. 3 minutes walk to nursery slopes, kids ski school/creche and magic carpet lift. Right next to nursery slopes but tucked away in a quiet spot. Less than 3 minutes to boulangerie, restaurants,ski hire and convenience store. Ski locker included.

For the summer we have a small tiled terrace, outdoor table, BBQ and small garden area.

Two double bedrooms (one with en-suite shower and basin)

A 'coin montagne' pair of bunkbeds.

About Sian Grant

We are a family of five who love skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and the wonderful French Alps. In 2017 we went crazy and bought our apartment in Morillon. We love this family friendly resort - with its scenic tree lined pistes - and just enough hidden powder to keep it interesting. Hope you will visit and have great holidays too.

Why Sian Grant chose Les Esserts

Our children are quite young. One of the hardest part of family skiing is getting out of the door. Top priority for us was fast easy access to the lifts without lugging heavy gear or a bus ride. With our apartment we step out of the door and walk 30 metres to the lift (so only 5mins complaining) Also love having the option to pop back for lunch and then out again for the afternoon.

Morillon and the Giffre valley is also an amazing place in summer. For me its all about the hiking up Alpine trails, past stunning waterfalls and lakes, fuelled of course by delicious French bread and cheese. For the kids - there are the outdoor swimming pools at Samoens and Les Carroz, rafting on the Giffre, mooching about on the Lac Bleu, Accrobranche, trampolining and pony trecking. And that's before we even get started on the superb mountain biking trails. Summer lifts to get you up to the peaks and well marked paths for great downhill riding.

What makes this apartment unique

In winter we head back to the apartment for lunch and leave our skis, boots and boards on the garden terrace before stepping in to the apartment through the patio door for a warm up and a delicious inexpensive lunch!

In summer we can eat outside or relax on the terrace and the kids can play out in the garden, head down the road for a game of tennis or go for a swim in the supervised pool.

Sehr schöne neu renovierte Wohnung

Die Lage der Wohnung ( direkt im Skigebiet) ist toll. Die Abfahrt von der Piste bis zum Haus ist möglich. Die sehr schöne neu renovierte Wohnung ist mit allen Dingen ausgestattet, die man für einen angenehmen Urlaub benötigt.

Cleaning may be available during certain weeks of the winter season with the exception of high season (February) for a fee of 70 Euros payable directly to our agent in Morillon. During a weekly stay, guests should confirm with AlpAgence by Wednesday if they wish to pay for cleaning so that there is time to schedule a cleaner for the changeover day.

Otherwise we ask our guests to leave the apartment clean and ready for the next visitors to enjoy.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
