Thoughtfully renovated in 2016, The Orchard provides easy access for those with mobility restrictions as it has widened doorways downstairs and a ground floor twin bedroom with a wet room just across the hall. There is a living room which runs into an open plan kitchen with high ceilings. Both the lounge and the kitchen have sliding doors onto a garden patio for eating 'al fresco'.
Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, one with a double bed and en-suite shower room and one with twin beds with a family bathroom nearby. Both these bedrooms have unrestricted views across fields and copses.
The Kitchen comes fully equipped with a dishwasher, cooker with a five ring hob, a large refrigerator, seperate freezer, toaster, kettle and their is even a Nespresso coffee machine.
Just off the kitchen is the utility room with a washing machine and separate tumble dryer and ironing board.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property and dogs and other animals are not allowed.
There is a front garden with parking space for 5 cars and a rear garden with stunning views across the Surrey and Sussex downs.
The house comes equipped with a large screen television, a DVD player and a stereo player as well as a Dab radio upstairs. There are also books, games and puzzles for those rainy days and plans and brochures of nearby activities for sunny days. The nearest shop is just 5 mins walk and the local pub and sports ground are a 15 min walk away. The village of Fernhurst has a 60's feel to it and people still say "Hello" when passing in the street.
Other shops just minutes away include an independent green grocers, a chemist, a classic car garage, an electrician and a community centre. There is a Doctors practice 5 mins walk from the house too.
Goodwood Race Course and Goodwood Motor Circuit are just 25 mins away.
Chichester is about 30 mins away and has the well known Theatre there.
South coast beaches, such as West Wittering and Pagham are just beyond Chichester.
The Surrey hills are ideal for serious bike riders and walking is popular at the Devil's Hunchback National trust site and in Blackdown hill.
