Bright, clean and functional apartment with a lovely terrace and views over the old city and Rua Augusta, a lively pedestrian only boulevard with cafes and lots of live music [some good, some not so much].
Great escape would recommend for couples
Amazing terrace with even more amazing views
Gorgeous apartment, perfect location. We would highly recommend!
Lots of stairs so make sure you are in shape but investable lication
Charming in the heart of the city
My daughter and her friend stayed at the apt and said it was not only adorable but wonderfully located. The only negative is they said one of the mattresses was “like a rock”. Not an issue as that just shared the larger bed. Laughed and said it would only be an issue for “an older person like you”. This was the only negative comment. They were extremely happy and the driver Oliver suggested was wonderful as well.
Lovely apartment in a great location..
We stayed at Oliviers apartment on a sunny and warm Lisbon weekend in November. The apartment is very well located in the centre of Lisbon, and walking everywhere is very easy. The apartment is located in the main shopping area so great for wandering the shops, but it was very quiet. It was clean and well equipped, with lots of natural light and a lovely little sun terrace. Communication was very good, and we were checked in by Fotis who was waiting for us at the agreed time and was very helpful.
There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away, but you are close to Alfama and also Barrio Alto and have so many choices for eating and drinking that you may not need it.
A couple of things to note, the apartment is on the 5th floor with no lift so not suitable for those with walking difficulties. Also there is a bed on the ground level and one on the mezzanine. While they are both private, neither actually has a door so something to remember if you want to be shut away. Very comfortable though and it caused us no problems.
Metro stations Baixa-Chiado and Rossio are down the block as are, amongst a selection of appealing shops, restaurants, and cafes, many key-route bus and tram stops, and the train station. Lisbon’s renowned night-life, with its maze of bars and clubs at Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré is at just 5 minutes walking. The gorgeous beaches of Cascais are only a 20 minutes train ride away.
