Bridge Cottage has been redecorated in 2019 to offer charming accommodation in the centre of town. The Cottage remains lovingly decorated and furnished to create a cosy holiday home, perfect for families or couples. All furnishings have been carefully chosen and put together to bring you a mix of vintage style and modern convenience.
On the ground floor, there is a spacious kitchen-diner with a stunning feature inglenook and rustic oak floorboards. An afternoon tea with cakes awaits you on arrival. Across the wooden panelled hallway is a cosy and comfortable sitting room. There are shutters at the window and a wood burning stove so you can enjoy cosy evenings in front of the fire.
Upstairs there are two good sized bedrooms, one twin and one double. Relax in the romantic master bedroom complete with iron frame bed, painted furniture and vintage chandelier. The pretty twin bedroom has two iron beds and a lovely Victorian fireplace.
The traditional style family bathroom has a fixed rain head shower over the bath, rustic oak floorboards and heated towel rail.
We want each guest to enjoy Bridge Cottage from the moment they arrive. Every effort has been made to make your stay truly memorable. You are welcome to arrive at Bridge Cottage from 4pm and depart by 11am. We will do our very best to accommodate a later departure but due to the popularity of the cottage this isn't always possible.
Whilst there is no private parking at Bridge cottage, free parking is available in the streets around the cottage. Alternatively, there is a public pay and display car park a few minutes’ walk away. The cottage is located on a one way street, you can easily park and unload outside the cottage.
There is no garden, only a very small courtyard area (not linked to the house) at Bridge Cottage, but guests will find a large area of parkland and open space to enjoy a few minutes’ walk away.
