About Ken and Linda Roth
Ken and Linda are high school sweethearts who grew up in Indiana, attended Purdue University, moved to Tampa after graduation, and raised their two girls, all while running a commercial landscape company. They were blessed to find Blue Ridge and purchase their first cabin in 2011. While constructing an addition onto their cabin, they developed a wonderful relationship with a creative and quality builder, Junior Deal. After Ken and Linda learned of Junior’s dream of building a treehouse, they decided to make Junior's dream come true and built their first treehouse, Canopy Blue, which was completed in 2016. Their experience was so fantastic with Junior and his partner, Matthew "Moose”, they built another treehouse, Inn The Ravine, which was completed in 2018. Junior and Moose, now owners of Blue Ridge Treehouse Builders, only build quality and creative spaces. Ken and Linda’s goal is to provide amazing getaways with lasting memories.

Very neat place to stay!
We had a great time! Our kids loved staying in a treehouse and loved the hot tub. The place was very clean and the directions the owner gave us were easy to follow.
They are correct, DON'T follow GPS to get to the house! Also, don't listen to your GPS if it tries to tell you to go further up the mountain to get to a destination. We have a van and the road was impassible.
If you're planning to do any cooking while you're there, plan to bring a couple of items. The kitchen has several gadgets, but we brought our own griddle and couldn't find a mixing bowl. We had mostly everything else we needed.
Would love to stay here again if we can save up the money and the timing is right!
Stay was awesome. Wish we could have stayed for longer!
My boyfriend and I visited the tree house as a 24 hour escape from the city and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. What impressed me most was the well thought out design (and quality craftsmanship) of this tree house. Every seat, room and area is perfectly positioned to capture the amazing view while relaxing. The home was very well kept, clean, and comfortable. The owners were extremely prompt throughout the booking process all the way until the hour we left. I think we found our new spot to unwind, unplug and recharge. We will definitely be back! Thank you Linda & Ken:)
We stayed just 1 night , not long enough!
The road is sketchy to climb. It could be cleaner for sure! Very dusty, no screens in the windows and had some difficulty getting in. Our code did not work and had to contact the owner, needless to say we ate cold pizza and a few mosquito bites!
Over all, it was nice and would recommend it to friends and family
We enjoyed this beautiful treehouse so much! What a unique and beautiful property. The views were amazing. The craftsmanship and details of the house were something to be appreciated.
Great quiet place to stay
Had a great time , place is very nice. Road going up is narrow and was washed out next to pull in by tree house , but I was able to get in with 2 wheel drive. Would recommend it to family and friends.
Blue Ridge is known for it's rustic charm and adventure activities. The treehouse is located just 10 minutes from town, but sits against national forest. The drive is short, but please note that the last 1/4 mile is a dirt/gravel road that can get quite rutty at times. Low profile vehicles not recommended. Four wheel drive is not necessary but certainly helpful.
