The property has 103.50 m² .and ground floor has an entrance hall which gives access to a spacious living and being in the ancient cave and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a kitchen full bath on first floor : a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a balcony over the harbor, on the second floor bedroom with feature living area with ensuite bathroom and a spectacular terrace overlooking the harbor and the city.
The house is equipped with a total HVAC system for both summer and winter through heat pump that keeps the house at a comfortable temperature at any time of year.
The kitchen has ceramic hob and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, extractor hood and utensils.
Available for leisure Sony bravia flat TV - DVD - home cinema and in the classroom. The most spectacular part of the house is the upper terrace is the jewel for his views.
Restored house on the Wall: The house is the result of a comprehensive rehabilitation of a house built in the early nineteenth century on the Wall of Mahon and Crag bordering the cliff of the walled city.
This rehabilitation was carried out in 2006 fruit of craftsmen work given the difficulty of access and the fact of being part of the house taking advantage of natural caves. It is in an exceptional location for its views and its strategic location in the historic center of Mahon.

The hiring of two consecutive weeks carries a bonus of 10% on the price of three weeks 15% and 20% full month on the prices of weekly rate.

If your wish is to stay somewhere slightly different and more characteristic than the coast-based apartment resorts, and you enjoy being at the heart of the (peaceful) city, in a special home, look no further. I did some serious research before booking this house, and you'll probably won't find anything better.
First of all, the house obviously is very special, it being partly cut out in the citywall. It is in good shape. All pictures and descriptions are representative. The balcony is right under a designated city-"mirador" (viewing spot), which indicates how special the views are. The management is well organised, with apt and swift responses, clear information and agreements, and available at all times.
Add to this that the house is on one of the best locations you can imagine. Below the house, you walk right into the touristy area of the harbour, with the ferry's, shops, restaurants, tourist information, and touring boats. Above the house, you step directly into the old centre of Mahon with the shops, monuments, museums and café's. The big medieval building above the house is a monastery turned into a shopping mall, including little shops for all your groceries and Menorquin specialties and a big supermarket in the lower floor. On your (very short) way there you'll pass a bakery and a fish market.
The neighbours (the yellow building) is the popular cafe Mirador, which attracts a predominantly younger, slightly alternative crowd (which in Spain still includes famillies, baby's and grandpa's) and also programs live concerts. My tip however is to have your morning coffee at the cafe right above the terrace of the apartment; it's the best! They also serve the regular Spanish tapas and pincho's, and their terrace is a lively and fun spot to be.
So for me, this was a great place to be based aswell from where to explore Menorca. I spent a few days visiting Mahon and it's sights (which all can easily be done by foot) and then cruised the rest of the magnificent island by car.
Some practical info: paid parking (city centre) is identified by blue markings. You have to pay with cash money and can park for a maximum of 2 hours, which costs a reasonable €1,60. I allways had a spot right in front of the house. For free parking, you drive a few hundred meters along the water, a less than 10-minute walk. The P-spots which are indicated on Menorquin maps, are free parking-areas. GPS: use "Costa de ses Voltas" to reach the house.
Ich war noch nicht von eine Ferienwohnung entäuscht (miterweile ich mache mein Urlaub nur so, und wähle immer ausgefallene Locations), aber diese war echt etwas auf unsere Herz geschnitten. Achtung, ich meckere nicht wegen Kleinigkeiten, wenn das gesamte stimmt.
Das Haus selber hat besondere architektonische Qualität und ist in sehr gutes Zustand. Das Aussicht ist wunderschön und die Versogungsmöglichkeiten ganz nah- das Fischmarkt und das Einkaufzentrum in das Karmelitenkloster sind etwas 200m weg.
Die einzige weniger gute Sache ist das Verkehr in Mao- enge Einwegstraßen (die Schattenseite von Romantik) und weniger gratis Parkmöglichkeiten. Falls jemand nicht unbedingt ein Auto braucht, ist besser kein zu vermieten.

The island is arguably the case, two capitals and their respective ports, 'Ciutadella' former capital, and 'Mahon', the capital. Two cities that must be followed with time to enjoy the streets.
