Little Owl Cottage
Great for two people, has all you need to relax and enjoy Sedbergh and the surrounding area
Cosy, easily accessible and comfortably appointed. Lovely setting and ideal for walks
Lovely cottage that was really welcoming in its character and also because of the thoughtfulness of the owners - a little welcome note and biscuits much appreciated.
Took opportunity to settle in front of the fire to rest and read after a fantastic walk from the cottage up Winder Fell. Instructions for various appliances etc were clear and yet no too long.
Strolled through the town to book shops and drove to Kirkby Stephen for local market.
Definitely recommend the property and the location.
A great experience.
Loved the cottage. Great location. Very handy for all local amenities. Warm and cosy. The log burner is a real bonus. Very helpful owners. Couldn't have been easier.
Cosy compact cottage for 2 in Sedbergh
Nice cottage in Sedbergh close to all local amenities, shops, and there are numerous walks from the doorstep. The cottage is compact but sufficient for 2 people and it is very warm with the added feature of a log burner which really adds atmosphere. There are 2 local pubs one of which (The Dalesman) serves good food. All in all, a pleasant stay over New Year.
Lovely cosy cottage - perfect for our outdoorsy Christmas
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! We needed somewhere close to the hills so we could run and ride, but also comfortable and warm for when we got back. That is EXACTLY what we had here.
The cottage is really well equipped with a good kitchen, modern bathroom and comfortable bed! The dvd collection is ace too and we absolutely loved the log burner whilst we watched films.
Lynne left us a lovely Christmas card and a small gift, which was very sweet.
Thanks for letting us stay! Happy New Year.
This is a lovely little cottage for two. In a good position near town centre. Good walking from the door so could leave the car. Cottage clean and warm. Also it was nice to have a large screen television. Quite well equiped but a couple of things could have improved it. There was no bath mat in bathroom and floor could be slippy after stepping out of shower. There were dirty used cloths left in the kitchen and bathroom. I always take my own but not what you expect to see. The utensils were a bit miss matched. Also I get the feeling parking is a bit of a problem with the locals. We parked outside cottage on the afternoon and at 9 o clock on the first night we had a knock on the door to ask us to move the car so someone could get in behind. We did but then we were not directly outside the cottage. Not a big problem but you didnt dare move car incase you couldn't get back in. Overall we had a good time.
