One of a group of 4 privately owned Chalets

Driftwood Chalet is situated in a quiet and peaceful location on the northern edge of the 4* Welcome Holiday Park, south facing and nestled amongst lawns and gardens.

The Park has Swimming Pools, Bar, Restaurant and Entertainment areas, available to our guests (for a small fee) from Easter until the end of October each year. The Chalet is available for hire from mid-March until mid-January each year.

The Chalet has an open-plan Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen area, a Bathroom with Full size Bath and Shower over, Wash Basin and WC, a Double and a Twin Bedroom, sleeping up to 4 people, plus there is room for a travel cot.

There is a patio with seating at the front of the property.

A 500m flat walk from the Welcome Holiday Park is Dawlish Warren's long, sandy beach, which in 2017 was awarded the Internationally renowned Blue Flag Beach for the 19th consecutive year.

Dawlish Warren is ideally located on the south-east coast of Devon, near the estuary of the River Exe,

close to Exeter, Torbay and Dartmoor and within easy travelling distance of

a wealth of adventure parks, animal reserves, walking and cycling tracks,

woods, castles, gardens and beaches.

About Alan & Lynne Shepherd

We took over our first Chalet at the Welcome Holiday Park in December 2013.

In the beginning of 2014 it underwent a complete refurbishment, including new kitchen, bathroom, flooring and furniture, ready for the start of the new season in March.

Over the next few years Dawlish Warren Holidays was created and now includes four adjoining Chalets which have all been refurbished to the same high standards, offering a unique self-catering family holiday home experience.

Between us, we have many years experience of working in the hospitality industry. We have worked in a variety of Hotels and Guest Houses, from Country House Inns, to Grand London Hotels and busy Airport Hotels, owned a hotel in Cornwall, and worked in retail and catering.

Originally from Manchester and London, we have now settled in Teignmouth, just down the coast from Dawlish Warren. Our families live as far afield as Cornwall, Nottingham and Sussex and our grandchildren love spending time in the chalets when they come to visit – you can see some of them in several of the photos!

We really want you to enjoy your stay with us and hope that we do everything we can to make it as pleasant and comfortable as possible for you.
