Want to surf the net while someone else uses the TV? No problem! You will find a tablet in all apartments. This stores our delightfully useful house manual showing picture and video guides for features and appliances in your apartment.
The tablet also cleverly shows you our recommendations for local restaurants, activities etc. Guests set the language as they check-in, and all of the tablet content is automatically translated into the chosen language of the guest.
The furniture is a tasteful blend of retro and modern, carefully selected by our interior designer.
The sofa bed is no ordinary sofa bed, it is the largest we could find! At only a centimetre or 2 smaller than a king size you are sure you have a restful nights sleep, regardless of your size. All linen and bedding for the sofa bed is neatly stored inside the sofa bed.
Furnished with a king sized bed and luxurious mattress you have a choice of firm and soft pillows to marry with your 13.5 tog, feather and down duvet. No need to live out of a suitcase thanks to the spacious double wardrobe and chest of drawers. Fine white cotton bedding is provided and changed weekly, at no additional cost, for guests staying longer than 7 nights.
All bedrooms have a large mirror and blackout curtains, no light will stand between you and a good nights sleep.
Travel cots and bedding are available upon request at no additional cost.
2 x 3ft wide sings beds with luxurious mattress with a choice of firm and soft pillows. Also with double wardrobe and double chest of drawers, large mirror , blackout curtains and hairdryer.

In the spacious bathroom you will find large bath and shower, WC, hand basin, complementary shampoo and body wash along with large white fluffy bath and hand towels, also changed weekly when the Housekeeper comes to clean.

All apartments are self check in offering guests greater flexibility in their arrival times. A member of the team is available during office hours and an 'out of hours' number is provided to enable contact at other times.
Although not designed specifically with suitable facilities and access the apartments are accessed by lift (2 in the building), doors are standard size and we will happily move furniture and items for easier access for ease of use.
Learn of old tales from castle prison walls, or watch a play in one of Lancaster's theatres. Re-trace Charles Dickens’ footsteps or delight in the quirky shops along our hidden cobbled alleys. Enjoy the great outdoors, or just a great cup of coffee. Listen to the cathedral bells, or enjoy live music in some of England’s oldest pubs. Lancaster is small enough to explore on foot, but big enough to keep you entertained all day – and night...
A Historic City?
The City of Lancaster has a long and diverse history, having gained its first charter in 1193. The historic castle that is situated in the heart of the city centre dates back to the 12th century, and is one of the best preserved castles in Great Britain – it's open to the public and is a fascinating place to visit. More recently, Lancaster was ranked as one of the top ten places to live in the UK, thanks to its established arts scene and student population.
A Vibrant City?
The city has a thriving shopping scene, with many independent shops and boutiques nestled alongside stores from most major retailers. The bustling Charter Market can be found in the heart of the city's historic centre every Wednesday and Saturday, and the Assembly Rooms boast an eclectic mix of stalls selling vintage, period and retro clothing, comic books, art and memorabilia.
?By day, a strong 'coffee culture' vibe runs throughout the city, with the Atkinson's roaster wafting its aroma onto China Street and Castle Hill, and with lots of cafés and bars dotted around the centre. The city's past comes to life through its nooks and crannies, and there are five museums where you can explore the history of Lancaster, from its stories of witches to its rich industrial, maritime and cultural heritage. Up the hill from the city centre lies Williamson Park, with its Butterfly House and the Ashton Memorial, the renowned folly that is visible from across the city and beyond.
Lancaster's nightlife buzzes with live music at the many pubs and wine bars within the city, situated along the banks of the canal, through the Georgian streets and even underneath the city in the castle's former wine cellars. The city's theatres and arts venues (including the Dukes on Moor Lane and the Grand Theatre on St. Leonard's Gate) provide an all-year-round calendar of cultural shows. Venues regularly play host to major comedy and theatrical tours too.
Lancaster is on the edge of the Trough of Bowland.A beautiful area for walking, cycling and birdwatching and fine dining. Great access via train or car to Manchester airport or day trips to York or Lake district National Park.
The city centre, train station, bus station, Sainsbury’s and all local amenities are just a short distance away. If that wasn’t good enough the building offers amazing views over the River Lune, Lancaster Castle and the Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park.
Potential Additional Charges & Costs
“Additional Charge” means a charge or fee that is additional to the rental and includes those specified as an ‘additional charge’ in our terms and conditions or in the Booking, and also any other reasonable charge or fee incurred by you under these terms and conditions.
Additional Charges which may be payable include those items specified in the Booking and any specified in our Terms and Conditions.
Check-in and Check-out On the day of departure we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 11am (unless a later departure is stated as part of your Booking). Late check-out can be requested and is subject to availability and carries and Additional Charge of £20. Payment of the fee allows guests to leave the property up to 1pm on the day of their departure. To allow the remote check in of guests we reserve the right to use motion sensor camera technology at the entrance of each apartment to ensure that guests have successfully checked in. All footage is handled in line with the Data Protection Act.
Unsheduled late check-outs will incur an Additional Charge of £50.
Housekeeping For stays of 7 days or less no daily housekeeping service is provided – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. However, it is available for an Additional Charge of £35.
Keys Unless otherwise agreed, the owners will issue to the client or guest one set of keys to the property. If at any time the client or guest loses the keys, they must notify us as soon as possible and we will instruct a locksmith to change the lock/key(s) and charge the client or guest.
If the guest locks him or herself out of the property and requires the owners’ assistance to re-enter the property, we reserve the right to charge an administration fee, as an Additional Charge.
Maintenance Call-Outs Should a guest or client report that a service or an appliance is faulty and subsequent inspection confirms that the appliance was not faulty, but was not being operated properly by the guest, and where usage instructions have been provided we reserve the right to charge the guest for the maintenance call out, as an Additional Charge.
Specialist Cleaning We ask that the accommodation to be left in a reasonable state on departure, including rubbish being placed in rubbish bins, and soiled dishes being placed in the dishwasher or the sink. If, at our discretion, additional cleaning is required on departure, the cost of this cleaning will be charged as an Additional Charge.
Where there is evidence of guests smoking within the property, we reserve the right to charge £100 for specialist cleaning, as an Additional Charge.
Damage Risk of damage to the accommodation and its contents will pass to you on check-in and remain with you until the accommodation is returned to us. You shall be liable for all loss or damage (except fair wear and tear) caused during the rental period, and for any reasonable loss of rental resulting from such loss or damage.
At the end of this agreement the property is cleared of the guest’s effects and left in good repair and clean condition. The client will pay (as an Additional Charge) for the repair or replacement of such items of the fixtures, furniture, furnishings and other effects as shall be broken, lost, damaged, or destroyed save for reasonable wear and tear.
Deposit A security deposit to cover your obligations under this Agreement may be taken at or prior to check-in. This may be in the form of a payment or an authorisation to deduct payment from your debit or credit card used to make the Booking. Any security deposit paid will be returned to you in full (or any payment authorisation cancelled) upon the Apartment being returned to us in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. Where you are liable for loss or damage under clause 4.2 of our Terms and Conditions, we may withhold some or all of your deposit to cover the same and our administration fees associated with repairing or dealing with the loss or damage. These will be Additional Charges.
Payment of Additional Charges Where Additional Charges (including charges for damage) are payable, you hereby authorise us to take them from the credit or debit card used to make the Booking, up to the pre-authorised amount which is detailed on the Booking and can be between £100 to £500. Our hold on your credit card will normally last for five days from the date of your departure. Where Additional Charges exceed the pre-authorised amount you will be invoiced for the excess. If no credit or debit card was used in the Booking, you must pay Additional Charges by another means acceptable to us. All Additional Charges are due on the check-out date, unless the context otherwise requires.
If you fail to pay any Additional Charge within 14 days of the date of our invoice requiring payment of the same, you will incur an administration fee of £50 to cover the costs of sending you our debt collection letter, which will follow.
If you fail to pay any sum that is due under this agreement when due, then you will pay us, on demand, interest on the unpaid sum in accordance with (if you are a business) the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (as amended) or (if you are a consumer) 4% above the Royal Bank of Scotland’s base rate from time to time. Such interest shall accrue on a daily basis from the due date until we receive payment in full cleared funds, whether before or after any judgment.
Our rates are subject to change without notice, unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.
VAT is charged as appropriate.

After you successfully submit your reservation request, you will receive an e-mail response from the home owner or property manager, within the next 24 hours. At this point, the full details of your confirmed reservation including the address of the property and the contact details of your local host will be shared with you through e-mail.
