About BETSY SANSBY
Al and I love our house and have done everything possible to bring as much natural light into each room. We've taken out walls and have added windows and skylights to every room. Al started out as a musician who at 27 decided to go to law school. He practiced law briefly, but realized that teaching was his passion, not fighting over money. He taught legal writing for several years before returning to music, this time as an instructional artist: writing books, teaching live classes, and creating a series of instructional videos on hand drumming, guitar, and keyboards. He recently discovered tennis, and now that's all he wants to do! I've been a family therapist (LMFT) for over 30 years, but like Al, I have a passion for music. Eight years ago, I started the One World Community Choir, and our weekly meetings give us both a chance to play together. Together, we raised our daughter, Molly, who is now 30, and living in LA. No surprise, she's a video artist, musician, performances, and complete goofball. She's working 3 jobs to support her passion for musical improv comedy..

Why BETSY SANSBY chose Minnetonka
We love where we live. The house is comfortable and suffused with natural light. Living on our leafy cul de sac (only 4 houses and lots of trees) has given us a way to escape the freeways and city madness, and live where there are trees, loads of birds and wildlife. I have an enormous perennial garden, and in the summer, my greatest challenge is to keep the deer from eating the tops off all my lilies. Our neighbors are great. Everyone looks out for each other, and in the 20 years we've been here, we haven't had a single problem with any of them. There are two older couples--like ourselves--in the Circle, and two families with young kids. It's safe, nicely tucked, but close to great shops, athletic facilities, and of course, the miles and miles of hiking and cross-country skiing trails.
What makes this House unique
1. Wildlife: Ducks, geese, herons, raccoons, deer, an occasional wild turkey. 2. Tranquility. 3. Proximity to everything: a Target, a food co-op, great restaurants, shopping, live theatre. 4.
