Sunfish Apartment, Windsor Court is a spacious, light and airy apartment with extensive views over St Ives and beyond to Godrevy. It is located on a quiet, elegant, south facing road with the benefit of its own exclusive, free parking space. It has everything a couple or family could need for a perfect holiday. The front of the apartment has a delightful communal garden with seating where you can enjoy your sundowners and morning coffee.

Sunfish is one of 4 apartments in a charming, Victorian, double fronted terrace. The bright south facing living area is flooded with light through the large bay window, stylishly furnished in vivid azure and splashes of sunshine yellow.

Patio doors open out from the bedrooms onto the small enclosed court yard where you can shower off sandy feet and wetsuits. A coded door leads to the parking space at the rear.

A few minutes stroll will take you to the blue flag beaches, with lifeguards during the season, the tropical looking Porthminster and the Atlantic surfing swells of Porthmeor, with the golden sands of three more family beaches to enjoy.

Around every corner in the pretty, cobbled, narrow streets, you will find some of the finest seafood and the best in local Cornish produce, delis and artisan food shops. Dine in award winning restaurants with breathtaking views of St Ives Bay and the picturesque harbour and have a warm welcome in the traditional Cornish pubs serving local ales

Joan and I have been married for 40 years and during that time we have lived and worked in many countries Holland, Borneo, Oman, Thailand and the Caribbean.

Now is the time to enjoy all the wonderful things that St Ives has to offer in our new holiday home.

We want you to have a share of that happiness when you spend your holidays in our lovely apartment.

There are many lovely apartments in St Ives but, to find one that has a south facing, elevated position with the sun lighting and warming around you and giving you that 'feel good feeling' every morning is what makes this apartment so wonderful.

The icon Tate St Ives Art Gallery is 3 minutes walk away with newly, refurbished and extended exhibition halls.

The Barbara Hepworth museum and sculpture garden is 2 minutes walk.

To the centre of St Ives for Restaurants, Galleries, food store, delis, bars, library, shops, cinema, banks, 3 minutes walk away.

There is a wealth of art studios, galleries and workshops for you to take part in and enjoy.

I know I have already said this but we loved your apartment and you are both so lucky to own it, we felt home from home and definitely have the holiday blues, did not want to leave.

Notes:
PARKING: There is a dedicated, private parking space at the rear, up a ramp. Also, parking is available on the road, at the front of the apartment and is free of charge, when you can find a space available. PLEASE NOTE this ramp is very tight and very steep and not suitable for sports cars or cars which are very low at front and rear. These cars could find getting up and down the ramp difficult. It is fine for most other cars such as family saloons, hatchback, estate cars and even VW campers (T5) can park up there. Please be advised that guests need to bring their own beach towels. STRICTLY NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN THE APARTMENT Sorry No Pets

Lovely flat, easy check-in and out, great location, a sea view!

Lovely little flat, ideal for us (me, my wife, and our son). Great communication and information from David, supplemented by loads of tips and information in the folder in the flat. Easy access and check-in, great location - five minutes to the town shops, ten to the harbour, or fifteen to the best beach. Be warned, though, there is a VERY steep 1:4 hill to go down/up to get to the town. The flat was lovely, really comfy, clean, nicely decorated, and a sea view out across the bay. Parking is available on the road at the front - if you can find a space - or there’s a dedicated space at the rear up a ramp. (A word of warning - this ramp is very tight and very steep and we simply couldn’t get my car up and down it without grounding out my exhaust pipes and front bumper - but my car is very low at front and rear and would be fine on anything sensible like a family hatchback, but if you drive anything like mine (BMW M3), an MX5, a 911 or a Boxster, or anything low and/or long then the parking at the rear is going to be a struggle. That said, we managed to park on the road opposite the front window, so it wasn’t a problem - just worth mentioning).

St. Ives is lovely, great places to eat, nice shops and galleries, the harbour with boat trips and hire, and two lovely beaches. It’s a perfect base for a family holiday, with easy access to the A30 to get to Newquay, Bodmin, and St. Austell, etc.

Great communication from David, really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this flat - we’d certainly stay here again.

A wonderful place to explore St Ives and the rest of Cornwall

A home from Home...this beautiful and comfortable centrally located apartment has all the mod cons that you will need to make your stay a very pleasant one. We had a fabulous time there and we hope to be back very soon :)

Lovely apartment in a great location

The apartment is lovely and bright, and very well equipped. A great location only 2 minutes walk from town, but also very quiet. Great view from main window. We would definitely stay here again.
