Upper Castlewright Cottage has been refurbished to the highest standards to provide accommodation for 5 adults. Dating back to the 15th century, the cottage is situated at 1,175 ft on the single-track Kerry Ridgeway, an ancient drovers' road through Wales into Shropshire.
The cottage has spectacular views over the hills of Montgomeryshire and Shropshire. It is an ideal touring base for the Welsh Marches, the castles, mountains and coastline of mid and north Wales, and the historic towns of Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Bishops Castle. Just 500 yards from a beautiful section of the Offa's Dyke national footpath, it is also an ideal base for walkers.
The cottage has a good-sized open plan kitchen with inglenook and living room with wood-burning stove, a utility room, 3 well equipped bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Dishwasher, washing machine, freezer, microwave. Central heating, garden, off-lane parking, pets allowed by arrangement (£10 per week).
