About the property

Stroll along to the town s centre to find a good selection of independent shops friendly pubs selling traditional ales cosy cafes and restaurants. On Saturdays the Market Square hosts a lively market. Find out about The Bramley Apple Lord Byron and King Charles I all have celebrated connections with Southwell. Follow the guided Heritage walks through the town and discover The Workhouse owned by The National Trust or back a winner with a visit to Southwell Racecourse. Stepping into the barn a large hallway with staircase greets you. There are two ground floor bedrooms one super-king-size (which can be made up as a twin on request) with handy built in wardrobes and en-suite shower and WC and one single with additional pull out single bed. Further along the hallway is the spacious bathroom with a beautiful freestanding bath which sits on a raised area WC and also houses the washer/dryer. Head up to the first floor which opens up into the fantastic lounge with bags of character including the beautiful exposed beams and brickwork and the two sky lights just let the light flood in. The lounge area offers ample comfortable seating and TV/DVD an ideal place to sit back relax and enjoy your stay. Step down and through the archway which leads you to the kitchen/diner here there is a good size farmhouse dining table for lazy breakfasts. The kitchen offers everything you need for a home away from home stay with an electric oven and gas hob fridge freezer and dishwasher. Outside there is a tiny seating area through French doors off the entrance hall and to the front of the property allocated parking for one car. The town offers a wonderful cafe culture with lots of outdoor seating dotted around all within easy walking distance.
