Right on the harbour, the house faces south across beautiful Roaring Water Bay, spacious, bright and fully equipped for comfort. All rooms have views of the bay, the islands and ruggedly beautiful Cape Clear.

You can relax and observe the vibrant maritime life of the harbour from our sheltered garden with its BBQ area, from which steps lead down to a smaller garden bordering the pretty stream that runs along the property.

The heart of the village - with its varied shops, restaurants and traditional pubs, several with live music - is just a two-minute walk from the house,

Schull has long been associated with food production of the highest quality. (Check out the lively Schull Country Market on Sundays). The area offers a range of summer leisure, sporting and cultural activities: sailing, boating, diving, angling, arts events, music festivals and many diverse excursion options on both land

Munro family back again and equally fantastic

It was remiss of us not to post a review in 2015 but we have returned in 2017. This is the first time we have come back to same location and accommodation, but such is the lure of West Cork and this excellent cottage (warm, clean, all mod cons and perfectly located to be lulled to sleep by the sound is the sea). Only minor downside is the local youth who gather at seafront from dusk until dawn. A great family holiday with fishing, kayaking, swimming, beach BBQs and lots of great food. May well return for a future holiday.

Pictures don't do it justice

Fantastic house is a perfect location. Everything you need. 20 second walk to food/pubs/sea. House is extremely well kitted out with absolutely everything you need overlooking the harbour. Looking forward to going back again.

We spend a wonderful week at Riverside, all was perfect: a very lovely house, beautiful and very comfortable with a pleasant garden, in a friendly welcoming town.

Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour à Riverside: nous avons été accueillis par des personnes très très sympathiques, dans une maison superbe, spacieuse, bien agencée, très agréable et idéalement située. Elle offre également un point de vue superbe sur le port de Schull.

Perfect Spot...

Spent a fantastic (and unbelievably sunny) week at this lovely property. Perfect location in the heart of a very nice little town and ideal for exploring the local area. Great house, good size rooms containing everything you'd need. Very friendly and helpful owner. Definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Just what we were looking for! 5 stars!

My family and I spent a delightful week at this house in Schull. The home has a fabulous location overlooking the Schull Harbour. There are great views from every room in the house and the backyard. The home itself is lovely. It is well appointed, extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The house is located in the charming town of Schull with the pier, pubs, park and restaurants all within walking distance. The surrounding areas are some of the most scenic and unspoiled in Ireland. We didn't want to leave and will certainly return. We highly recommend this property!

Perfect!!

Schull is located on the Mizen Peninsula in picturesque West Cork, in the southwest of Ireland. Thanks to the gulf stream, the climate is particularly mild with palm trees and eucalyptus trees growing here. This beautiful fishing village, its harbour looking out to Roaring Water Bay, is world famous among the sailing community. The village offers all types of recreational, cultural and sporting activities. There is a book shop, a traditional bio-store and even a small chocolate manufacturer as well as craft and design shops, nice restaurants and cafés and, of course the famous small pubs. In addition to West Cork’s renowned scenery and wildlife, there are some spectacularly beautiful beaches within easy reach.

We charge €100 per week (payable in advance) to cover electricity, gas, oil, waste disposal and (weekly) cleaning. There is no charge for using our private boat mooring, but, if you require it, we recommend that you reserve it as soon as possible.

20% booking deposit, balance 6 weeks prior to rental

Owner's Cancellation Policy

100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
