Combining tradition and modernity, Dar Sabri is a guest house that combines a sleek design contemporary high-tech style to the Tunisian tradition with arabesque atmospheres. A rare alliance in Tunisia. The choices of the owner of the place have made a discreet Dar (house), both luxurious and refined. The ground floor of the Dar, with its vaulted ceilings, has preserved the Tunisian memory of the ancient classical Arab house, while the floor offers a contemporary luxury ultra design.
Dar Sabri has four suites, two on the ground floor and two others upstairs.
On the ground floor of the Dar, two suites arranged around the central patio are inspired by the living spaces of traditional Tunisia. It is penetrated by a finely carved stone door frame of Dar Chaâbane El Fehri.
The typically Tunisian Gold Suite, in length, is dominated by a luxurious layout of traditional oriental loggias with arabesque and mirror decorations, entirely covered with gold leaf. Edicules with supreme refinement frame on the one hand a double bed and on the other hand the dressing part. Between the two, an exceptional double bath dug on the floor.
The Silver suite adopts the same longitudinal layout of the Tunisian architectural tradition. This suite of exception owes its name to the silver tones used for the edicule framing the double bed and all the basic materials. A central wall separates the bathroom, equipped with a large shower head, from the rest area proper, featuring a Bang & Olufsen flat screen.
Arranged around a large terrace inviting to idleness, the suites of the floor present a decor and contemporary resolutions.
The Ebony suite is impressively modern, all adorned with tones of gray, black and white. You enter by a comfortable lounge with fluffy cushions. This suite also features a Bang & Olufsen flat screen. The bathroom consists of a double bathtub and two sinks, tadelakt gray anthracite. This room has a large double bed.
The Ymen suite is exceptional and will delight lovers of contemporary art. The Tunisian painter Ymen Berhouma lent her name to this artistic suite which she partially decorated. His paintings are decorated by the Tunisian calligrapher Nasreddine Khelil. This exceptional suite, with its immaculate white walls and its wells of light as efficient as discreet, shines with luminosity. Fitted in part by furniture by Philippe Starck, the space is punctuated by a pretty arch separating the living room from the room proper. The shower room is equipped with a shower with large pommel.
In this jewel case, the design of the four suites with hand-embroidered bed linen by Fosdka Hir Boujnah, embroiderer of Nabeul, has been designed according to the requirements of originality, refinement and comfort.
Guest house, Dar Sabri is primarily a place of relaxation and rest. Spaces for this purpose have been arranged on the ground floor, around a traditional central patio decorated with a fountain to the Tunisian. A gallery outside the ceilings and arcades of Tunisia of yesteryear will welcome lovers of idleness. The Dar's lounge is covered with furnishing fabrics signed by Kenzo and realized thanks to the Tunisian know-how of the talented Anis Khemakhem of Guépard Design. It is good to stay in this lounge before going to taste the cuisine of Dar Sabri.
Indispensable to the pleasures of the table, a large kitchen coupled with a vast living room also finds its place on the ground floor. The kitchen is organized around a central work plan and offers state-of-the-art equipment with a dedicated staff. We can arrange the preparation of meals (lunch / dinner) on request.
Not far from here, luxury and comfort await the guests in the cozy and unusual atmosphere of the living room: two openings on the ceiling illuminate the table, the light is filtered by the pool water which overlooks the dining room. Technical proudness and inventiveness are also part of the vocabulary of the owner of this unique residence.
The holidays at Dar Sabri are moments of relaxation Zen, at the same time harmonious and voluptuous. The private hammam of the guest house is a dream place to recharge your batteries.
