amazing property! would stay here again for sure
We stayed here with another family so there were 4 adults and 4 children. It was a beautifully restored property with loads of amenities. We enjoyed the big TV, netflix, the massive tub and the comfy beds. Plus the kitchen was the most well stocked in terms of appliances and cooking utensils etc.
We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine and lots of helpful instructions. Settle was a beautiful village and I was tempted to move there lol. We only had a couple small issues with batteries needing changing in smoke detector (although the beeping was slightly annoying whilst trying to sleep) and lightbulbs going out but they were sorted extremely quickly.
I have already recommended this place ot several friends. We found it a really good Central place to visit lake district and surrounding areas. Places we went and loved included:
White scar cave (awesome)
Ingleton Waterfall walk (beautiful)
Windermere ( steam boat/train ride/car museum all good!)
Settle to Carlisle train ride (stunning but kids found a bit boring)
Bolton Abbey (absolutely amazing)
