The site nestles in 60 acres of tranquil countryside and the lodge is set back in a cul-de-sac position with its own parking. We have decking surrounding the lodge to which you can enjoy the daily sun. It is in an ideal location from which you can explore the beautiful Devon countryside to the numerous blue flag beaches. There is so much that you can enjoy right here, and it is just on your doorstep. The front door leads around to the french doors which open up onto a decking area which sits a Rattan table, four chairs and a parasol enabling you to sit comfortably and in the privacy of your surroundings. Inside the lodge we have a dining table which seats four people and in the lounge we have two comfortable two -seater/ leather settees. There is a contemporary flame effect wall mounted electric fire with a cream mantle piece. There is a coffee table and TV unit which sits a 32 inch television and also a DVD player. WIFI is also available. The kitchen is Gloss white units with free standing double electric oven. Also provided is a fridge and small freezer and a microwave along with your usual small appliances such as a toaster and a kettle. We do not supply a washing machine but there is a launderette on site. A small hallway leads you to two bedrooms. One has a double bed and the other twin single beds. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and the double room also has a dressing table. There is one bathroom which can be accessed from the door from the hallway or from the double bedroom (jack and Jill style) The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and a large shower. For winter breaks the lodge also has central heating and double glazing to ensure that you are warm and cosy on the coldest of days and nights.
Devon Holiday Village is a five star rated site. It has a leisure complex and an indoor pool with a children's pool, sauna and also a steam room. Devon Hills also has a Gym with excellent equipment and a personal trainer if required. Outside activities you can try are archery, tennis and there is also an adequate play area for children. The Blagdon Inn is a very short walk and always offers good food and local beers along with wines and staff always greet you with a warm welcome. The site itself has a tranquil atmosphere without the noisy attractions of some of the more commercial sites. It is a perfect base from which you can explore whether it is walking, sailing, climbing or just browsing around the shops. The two nearest cities are Plymouth and Exeter. The National Park of Dartmoor is nearby and is notorious for ten tors and Dartmoor ponies. For the children you are just two miles from Paignton zoo and Torquay is 7 miles away where children can also visit Living Coasts and see the penguins and seals perform their acts.. Paignton Town Centre and Torquay have both got their own beaches and more than adequate resturants, bars, shops and plenty of things to do . Local Buses just stop on the main road which is 2 minute walk from the lodge.

Lovely cabin, well equipped and well located
Cabin is nicely refurbished and had everything we needed. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided for our arrival which was a nice touch. Kids loved the swimming pool which is clean and well staffed (lifeguards always present). Tracey and Eddie were very helpful and checked everything was OK when we arrived. The flexibility to book a 6 night stay was especially useful for me. The WiFi was a godsend with the children. Lovely large shower and the balcony is a great space. Very quiet as well as it's a reasonble distance from the main road. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back. Thanks Tracey and Eddie
Thanks you very much for your lovely review and very happy you and the children enjoyed your stay. Look forward to you all visiting again 😀
Wonderful few days
Property lovely. & weather was amazing so didn’t use all the facilities as it was a very short visit but hope to return.
Adequate for a short break.Clean and bright.Nerds better will fi
Charming log cabin.the lounge was beautifully decorated. All you need for a short break.
Info for the area was an intelligent help.
The only downside is that the individual rooms are too small, but not a deal breaker. I would stay there again bug I would prefer a larger log cabin
there is no shop on site but you can get a few amenities from the Blagdon Pub on site, such as bread and milk. But there are plenty of Supermarkets in a 2 mile radius.
