About Lesley Grant
Hi, I'm Lesley and the very proud owner of Vespers. I have owned this property since 2005 and my family and I have enjoyed many holidays and created so many precious memories there. I want all my holiday makers to get the most from their holiday and create special memories with their family and friends and I am here to help wherever I can.
Lesley Grant purchased this Cabin in 2005
Why Lesley Grant chose Great Yarmouth District
I spent many holidays on the Norfolk Broads as a child and always dreamed of being able to create the same memories and fun for my own family. I fell in love with Vespers because of its easy access yet feeling like it was a million miles away from the stresses of everyday life.
What makes this Cabin unique
Vespers is spacious and offers you a home from home environment with the tranquillity of the River Thurne in your front garden. I am a keen cook so the kitchen is well equipped but also there are many lovely places to eat close by if you want to get away from everyday chores. I'm here to help so please ask any questions you may have about the property or the surrounding area and I will assist if I can.

Fabulous break on the Broads
Lovely property with everything you could need in a lovely setting. Lesley's communication is fantastic! Thank you
Thank you for your kind review and for taking the time to share your experience of Vespers.
It was genuinely a pleasure to have you and your family as a guest there and I hope to welcome you all back at a future date.
Thank you Lesley for providing us with the perfect place to stay. You have thought of everything you could possibly need for a home from home experience. Plus the river at your doorstep!
Even though the weather was not great for us, we still got to do and see lots of things. It’s wonderful to have the boats to hire just up from Vespers. Plus we enjoyed great meals at The Greyhound Inn, Hickling. Fun on a riverboat at Wroxham. Plus sand dune walks and cafe at Winterton.
We would highly recommend anyone staying here.
Lovely, ideal river bank setting.
Vespers, is a river bank cabin, just a 5 min walk up the tow path, from the center of Potter Heigham. The accommodation sleeps 6 comfortably, and is clean, well presented, equipped with all the comforts of home. The owner Lesley Grant, cares that you enjoy the stay, and has a great attention to detail. There are good places to eat in Potter Heigham itself and locally. Also just a short drive away are Gt Yarmouth, Croma, Sherringham, and Norwich. Just a wonderful peaceful place to sit and watch the world float by. This was the first holiday of this kind for my wife, & I, and we have already booked to go back this year.
Great property for families and dog.
We have just come back from a very rainy but lovely stay at Vespers. The cabin is great. It was warm, clean and well equipped. Lesley made the stay very easy with all her wonderful instructions. Despite all the rain we could still enjoy looking out at the all the boats going by from the front room. Lots to do around the area to keep us busy. Our teenagers loved the local cafe with their amazing cakes. The dog enjoyed us hiring a boat and riding down the river. Hope to revist sometime when the weather is warmer.
Dear Rochelle and family,
Thank you for your lovely review and for taking the time to write about your experience of Vespers. I am so pleased that you all enjoyed your break and found so much that you enjoyed in the area too. I just wish I could have ordered you some better weather.
An even bigger thank you for leaving Vespers so immaculate. I truly was so grateful and would love to welcome you back to the cabin at any time in the future.
The most perfect little break anyone could ask for
Everything you could ever want and more for a break on the broads.
Very quiet and tranquil location
Couldn't have been anymore clean and tidy on arrival the place was spotless!
The property is so well equipped for everything you can think of. Way more equipped than my own kitchen!
The owner is a very kind generous woman who made us feel very welcome upon arrival
We will be returning again and again and again, we would highly recommend this property to everybody!
Thanks again Lesley
Dear Dean, family and friends,
Thank you very much for your lovely review. I am genuinely so pleased that you had a lovely break and Vespers was everything you wanted it to be.
I do now always get to meet all of my visitors personally but it was an absolute pleasure to meet you and your lovely family - my heart was immediately taken by your four legged friend. What a gorgeous boy! I hope he enjoyed his holiday too.
It would be a pleasure to welcome you all back to Vespers in the future and there are so many activities in the area that will keep your little girl occupied through the years. I am constantly trying to improve Vespers and the experience for my guests so you will have more comforts to enjoy.
Thank you again for sharing your experience of Vespers and I wish you all the best for the future.
Surprisingly spacious, get-away-from-it-all cabin with every comfort thought of
We enjoyed a lovely relaxing few days here, enjoying being right on the river, eating breakfast watching the boats go by. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (11 & 13). Lesley is an amazing host, she had thought of everything we could need, even down to a dog basket which we'd forgotten to bring! The nearby beaches are wonderfully sandy and even have seals! One word of caution is that it is a short walk from the car and you have to go over a steep bridge with your luggage, but Lesley supplies a trundle trolley in the shed for you to use.
