Lovely Cottage in Ripon

  • 5 of 5

This quirky little cottage was so cozy and comfortable. It's excellent location in Ripon was a great base for us to explore Skipton, Rievaulx Abbey, Whitby and Whitby Abbey, Fountains Abbey, Ripon cathedral, and into the Dales, not to mention the beautiful city of Ripon itself. The restaurant So! was excellent, as was the coffee shop Tempo. Valerie was very helpful and accessible for all our needs and questions. The lovely Easter treats left for our kids was a nice touch, as was the butter, bread, and milk. The option to order from the local butcher is an excellent way to support the local community. We will definitely try to stay here again the next time we fly to England and won't hesitate to suggest this property to others.

Great location for exploring the town and countryside. One of the best equipped kitchens i have stayed in. Plenty of good quality towels provided and amazingly comfortable bed. This property is the perfect recipe for relaxation...even when we visited with a 4 and 6 year old.
