About the property

The three bedroom apartment has only recently been completely renovated and it is in pristine condition. It is more spacious than you would expect, and is a really unique and pleasant environment for your holiday.

A particular feature of the apartment is that it is located on the Lower Ground floor of the Old Vicarage. The vicar of the neighbouring St Paul's Church, Grade 2 Listed, previously lived in the Old Vicarage.

The living room is far more roomy than you would expect. At one end there is a very solid wooden dining table which has six solid chairs: the table can be extended if you wish. There are two two-seater leather style sofas, a coffee table, side boards, and so on. A particular feature is the 48 inch brand new Smart TV which allows access to an enormous range of channels, and even has games for the children.

The main bedroom is large, and has a six-foot wide King size bed. The second bedroom has a Double bed, and the third bedroom has two Single beds. All the bedrooms have a stylish wooden wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bedside table.

There is a bathroom, a separate shower room, and a separate wc for your convenience.

Although the Old Vicarage is situated in Cliftonville, the historic Old Town of Margate is within walking distance. Alternatively you can catch from a nearby stop the regular Loop bus into Margate. The Margate Old Town has a wide range of attractions, with many slylish design shops and restaurants.

It is even possible to walk to the wonderful vintage Dreamland, although it is easier to take the number 8 bus in the Canterbury direction. You probably already know of some of the many wonderful attractions of Dreamland. Similary the Turner Contemporary Gallery is proving to be very popular with visitors, and regularly has new exhibitions.

The beach is less than 5 minutes walk, and there are play areas for the children.

There is plenty of explore in the area, and the nearby towns of Broadstairs and Ramsgate both have many attractions. It is definitely worth making the trip to Canterbury if you have the time and energy.
