It is enclosed in its own individual grounds at the head of the picturesque Lake Crafnant which lies above the village of Trefriw in the Conway Valley. In this peaceful and secluded setting the house is the perfect getaway, nestling in the Snowdonia National Park with stunning views of the mountains and valley. The house is ideally suited for walking, touring, mountain biking, bird watching, fishing or just relaxing.
In this peaceful haven there is no internet access - but plenty of boxed games, jig-saws and DVD's.
Dogs are welcome in these beautiful pet friendly surroundings.
The converted farmhouse is light, spacious and very welcoming. It sleeps up to seven people. All inclusive of electricity, central heating and bed linen.
There is no extra charge for well behaved pets!
Ground Floor - Light oak flooring, doors and stairs complement the airy lounge/dining room with log affect stove and open plan kitchen.
There is a separate utility with freezer. A double bedroom and bathroom are also on this floor.
First Floor - There are two double bedrooms, one single bedroom and a separate shower room on this floor,
Outside - The house stands in approximately one acre of its own grounds complete with stream, waterfall, pond and magnificent mountain views.
Outside furniture and barbecue are available for your use
Places of Interest - The Snowdonia National Park offers a huge range of all year round outdoor and indoor activities together with many places of interest all within breathtaking scenery. Outdoor pursuits include climbing, hill walking, photography, mountain biking, fishing, surfing and other water sports.
The area offers something for everyone. Long sandy beaches at Porthmadog, Anglesey and Llandudno; magnificent castles such as Conway, Caernarfon and Harlech; stunning gardens at Bodnant above the Conway River withal year round colour; narrow gauge railways of Ffestiniog and Snowdon; slate mines, hydro electric stations and the beautiful Italiante village of Portmeirion.
Then there is Crafnant - the jewel in the crown, one of the prettiest lakes in the area. It is a walker's paradise with pleasant walks to nearby Lyn Gerionydd and Cowlyd or over Crimpiau with wonderful views of Snowdon and Tryfan; or to Capel Curig beneath Moel Siobod absorbing the serenity and magic of the mountains. For a gentle a walk you can stroll around the lake watching the herons, cormorants and buzzards then return to Hendre refreshed and invigorated.
