This property is amazing everything you could ask for was supplied, travelling with a 11, 4 year old and a nearly 9 week old it felt so warm and cosy but it is so spacious, the little touches Like board games and dvds to keep older ones entertained before leaving for the day, location amazing and such a beautiful town we have stayed many places in Ireland but this has to be the best will definitely be booking again
Very nice property and location. Would happily use again if in the area.
The house was just as described and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again!
Wonderfully appointed accommodations in a quaint Irish village
My sister and I used Colin's bungalow as a central location to explore the wonders of this land and the people in it. The bungalow had everything we needed and more. It felt like home. If we had a question or needed help Colin was quick to respond. He sent Uncle Walter to show us where the dryer was located when we were at a loss. The beds were extremely comfortable, the shower had great pressure and the information book was extremely helpful in figuring out the appliances. The smart TV has Netflix if interested, the WiFi had a strong signal. The village of Killfinane is absolutely adorable. We loved diving into its history and meeting the lovely people. The Glen of Aherlow is gorgeous. We took day trips to surrounding towns and out to Killkenny. As the driving felt a bit treacherous, we decided to move our base to Ennis on the last night to visit Doolin and be closer to Shannon Airport for our departure. Overall it was a trip we will never forget, and we feel very lucky that we were able to stay at Colin's.
Perfect home base for exploring Munster (Limerick, Tipperary, Cork, Clare)
Colin and Louse's property was freshly renovated, clean, had everything needed to prepare meals, sleep comfortably, enjoy a movie, etc. It was quite central for all our road trips - we went as far as Cork/Kinsale/Cobh, Cashel/Cahir, Waterford, Limerick and up to the Cliffs of Moher, all within a 1-2 hour drive. It would have been more than adequate for a whole family, though there were only two of us. Very satisfied, and would love to come back!
It takes a village
We loved our stay. It is a small village but with mighty villagers. Everyone liked to chat, offer helpful suggestions or nodded in greeting. Everyone. The house is remote but still centrally located to so much. We would absolutely stay here again.
Thank you so much ladies, it was a pleasure having you.
We hope you found lots of bric-a-brac for your store.
We would love to have you back some day. Safe journeys.
