Walthamstow Market has been in operation since 1885, and it still remains Europe's longest street market, taking up the entire length of the high street. The market stalls sell cheap clothing, hand bags, bric-a-brac, fresh fruit and veg, books and second hand CDs amongst other things, with traders loudly touting their wares to passers-by. The market doesn't open on Sundays or Mondays and the busiest days by far are Fridays and Saturdays when getting from one end of the street to the other can become quite a chore. Luckily you can dive into one of the local caffs, pubs or the pie and eel shop for a breather. On Sunday mornings, a separate farmer's market operates just off the high street, on the Town Square opposite the shopping mall, which sells organic fruit and veg, cheeses, meat, eggs and bread.

Of course, you have to ride on the London Eye - the new landmark for London! London has some of the finest parks in the world. If you have time, pay a visit to Hamstead Health and Kew Garden - you will feel some peaceful in a busy city!
We stayed here for 1 week and we are 4, a family with 2 sons.
To be honest I expected the flat in better condition. It's the first time that I have to complain about a flat rented by homeaway. There are some pros, but also many cons.
1.The flat is really close to the tube station.
2.The man who works for the company is really helpful and flexible, in fact we could get the flat some hours before although the check in was at 3.00 pm.
3. wifi is great.
4. There is a tesco very close.
5. The flat is surrounded by a private parking.
1. The flat for 4 people is really small, in the sitting room when you open the further be, it's difficult to manage the space even to eat around the table.
2. The flat was in very poor conditions and dirty, the floor carpet really dusty and full of heirs, I've immediately looked for a vacuum and it was inside the bedroom completely stuck with dirty unable to work, I asked for a new one that was provided, but by myself I had to clean all the flat floor! Under the bed linens and the pillows were dirty and spotted. The kitchen very sticky. The furniture very poor and not fixed.Only the bulb lamp, no lamps in the bedroom and sitting room. The windows dirty.
No kitchen linen and no carpet for the bathroom, I had to use a towel.
3. The flat is in zone 3, so you pay more for your oyster card to travel.
Suggestions: In my opinion the owner with a little more care for the guests and very few money can do the difference to make that flat comfortable. Obviously, I'm not talking of luxury, just confort and cleanness, that are 2 things that cannot lack in a holiday rent, and in this one I've really missed them.
In terms of location - EXCELLENT. The apartment is across the street from Blackhorse TUBE station (Victoria Line) and is surrounded by various restaurants & grocery stores. Local TESCO just 2 mins walk away. Safe neighborhood. Kitchen is fully equipped, and hot water in bathroom works all the time.Only discomfits were the lumpy mattresses of all the 3 beds. Would recommend if owners can get new mattresses. And also clean the carpets in the rooms.
Overall, totally recommend this apartment.
It is also a nice area for children Who Could play in the garden of the residence and it was also great to be so close to the tube station! we had a real good time!
We enjoyed pretty much our time in the apartment. It's comfortable, clean and really close to the underground. The wifi was great. Also, the local commerce has lot's of grocery stores, launderette and a Tesco. The staff was very nice and helped us every time we needed. (Staying: 22 July - August 4th)

We went to the local market which was great for shopping.
