1 bedroom, 1 bath Waterfront Cabin
Why Linda Baker chose Vashon
We bought this cabin in 2016, and love it. It's a quiet retreat and cozy home-away-from home. We live in the Seattle area, and it takes us only about 75 minutes to get here, door-to-door, including the ferry ride. We hope you love it as much as we do.

Amazing place and property
What an incredible home and land! It is a gift to stay in this place and be welcomed by the view. Could not recommend it more! (And, yes if you have any mobility challenges, the walk down is not for you. But if that's not a concern, don't fret! Be minimalist in your packing and enjoy the fully stocked and comfortable home!)
Anniversary Getaway Weekend
We spent our 2nd wedding anniversary at this cozy and well-appointed cabin situated on the water. The views are lovely - It's hard to believe Vashon Island is so close to the hustle and bustle of Seattle yet a world away!
Amazing view, so peaceful!
Amazing views! The water is so close to the cabin, and it's so peaceful. It has such a secluded feel. Amazing to see the different "moods" of the water, and how the a.m. and p.m. light change the look!
Cute, quiet getaway
Loved this charming cabin!
Very cute getaway cabin!
The stairs to get to the cabin are no joke... Our 2 year old did just fine though. The cabin is very cute, view is amazing! We met a couple of the neighbors and they were very nice.
The house and property are perfect, located right on the water. Plenty of comfortable places to relax both in and out. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for our family of four. Our young boys did okay on the trail from the car, we made sure they had an adult because a fall would be no good. They loved their loft bedroom, the ladder up to the loft has nice wide steps, our six year old did great, the three year old preferred having some help getting back down. You really feel like you got away from it all, waking up to that view is wonderful! But you’re still close in on a small island that nothing is too far to enjoy. Linda was a super informative host. Fresh flowers left out for us upon arrival. We will be back!
Burma Road - Named for the World War ll route over the HImalayas because of its many turns.
