What a lovely place to spend a long weekend. So accessible to so many restaurants and entertainment venues. Nicely remodeled kitchen and bath, very comfortable living room and off street parking - always a plus that close to the Plaza. I would highly recommend this property.
The place was very nice and clean. Location was great.
Cozy craftsman bungalow
Our third visit to this home. Great location next to the Plaza. Nice vibe in the neighborhood.
Short walk to plaza. You left lots of board games, TVs, nice rooms. Made for a nice stay.
Great place, Great location
Very well managed spot. We requested early check in and got it. Everything we needed in the way of appliances, including TV, frig , etc. The HVAC was effective. Tub drained slowly, but was cleared within 30 minutes. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.
Great Location. Great House
Was in town with another couple for NCAA basketball tournament and this house was perfect for us. Great value. Great location. Parking is a plus. Within walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops in Country Club Plaza area. And only a 5-10 minute ride to downtown. Clean and had great amenities. Would definitely stay here again.
The Country Club Plaza District consists of 18 separate buildings representing 804,000 square feet of retail space and 468,000 square feet of office space. The standalone buildings are built in a distinctive Seville Spain theme and are on different blocks mostly west of Main Street and mostly north of Brush Creek and blends into the Country Club neighborhood around it and the whole area is often simply called the "The Plaza."
It was the first shopping center in the world designed to accommodate shoppers arriving by automobile. The 55-acre site is about four miles south of downtown, between 45th and 51st streets to the north and south and between Broadway and Madison Street to the east and west. The Kansas state line is one mile (1.6 km) to the west. Established in 1922 by J. C. Nichols and designed architecturally after Seville, Spain, the Plaza comprises high-end retail establishments, restaurants, and entertainment venues, as well as offices. The neighborhoods surrounding the Plaza consist of upscale apartment buildings and mansions, especially those of the Country Club District built along Ward Parkway on the Plaza's southern and southwestern side. The Country Club Plaza is named in the Project for Public Spaces' list 60 of the World's Great Places.
