A contemporary grade II listed cottage in the pretty village of Pett, with beautiful coastal walks & to the Medieval Town of Rye only a 15 minute drive away.
You enter the cottage through the rear garden directly into a boot room, with a downstairs cloakroom.
From the boot room you enter into the galley style kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need to make your stay relaxing and home from home. The focal point of the lounge is the large inglenook fireplace which comes into its own during the autumn and winter months, providing a warmth and a cosy inviting glow, especially after a bracing walk. Exposed beams, ample comfortable seating make this room a perfect room to snuggle up and watch a movie on chilly days.
From the lounge you have a single bedroom, with an outlook onto the garden. A dining room with seating for 6 , exposed beams and inglenook fireplace make this a great entertaining space.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The smaller of the two overlooks the garden and the master bedroom to the front is larger and has ample room for a travel cot and good inbuilt storage space. The main family bathroom is reached through the master bedroom and is modern with large bath and overhead fixed shower.
The front of the property has a small ornamental garden with a picket gate and footpath leading to the front door. The owners do not use the front door, as the key is a very large old brass key (about 12cm in size), which would be a nightmare to carry around when out for the day, but will be in the property if you wish to see it. The large rear garden is fully enclosed, mainly laid to lawn with a paved terrace for enjoying those summer BBQ's and lazy evenings.
