This spacious, centrally heated studio apartment has a king-size double bed with quality mattress together with a comfortable double sofa-bed for additional sleeping accommodation.

The seating area has a large, comfortable sofa, wall-mounted flat-screen TV and dimmable lighting.

The dining area seats four people around a glass topped table. Separated from the living room by double doors is a fully equipped fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, etc, together with a full range of utensils designed to make cooking here a pleasure. The apartment also has a separate walk-in wardrobe/storage room and a bathroom with power shower, washbasin and WC.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay and it was in the perfect location! A short walk from Earls Court Metro Station, a short walk from a Tesco grocery store, and lots of restaurants nearby. Very convenient. The apartment itself was nice. The hosts seemed to have thought of everything we would need - bedding for both the summer and winter depending on what time of year you're visiting, outlet converters for various countries, etc. Would definitely recommend!

Great location, accommodating hosts with a few problems

The hosts gave us early access to the unit which was extremely helpful. The unit is in an excellent location, close to Earls Court subway and various restaurants. The unit has one bathroom. There is another separate room that is a linen closet complete with another sink which proved helpful when we were getting ready in the morning.

I booked this flat based on the location and the cleanliness reports. Unfortunately, we had some issues with the cleanliness. The soap dispenser in the washing machine was dirty with black mould like sections through out it. The gasket around the door also has black sections around it. I did hesitate using the washer but the necessity of clean clothes won over my hesitation.

The refrigerator and freezer had not been cleaned very well. The bathroom needs some work but the shower was concerning to me. It had brown and black stains amongst the grout and when you stepped inside the shower there was black mould around the inside of the door.

When I contacted Hillary, she explained that there was a mix up with the cleaning lady and therefore the flat had not been cleaned as long as usual. I am hoping that this was a one time thing as all the other renters have not seemed to have an issue with the cleanliness.

Our London home

This was our second stay at the apartment. We have come to think of it as our London "home" and would definitely return. As others note, it's very convenient, quiet, and comfortable. While we prefer to have dinner at restaurants (if I cook, it's not a vacation!), it's very nice to be able to have breakfast and snacks without going out.

Great location, pleasantly furnished

Apartment had everything one needs, including a washer and dryer. Roomy, clean and bright. Very comfortable bed! Only issue was the inconsistent hot water fluctuating from hot to cold which made showering a little less than ideal.

Convenient and well appointed

With the tube servicing a few different tube lines about a block's walk away and all sorts of casual restaurants and food shopping options on the way, the actual street where the flat was located was extremely quiet.

The "Co-op" food shop was extremely good for all food purchases. Helpful staff, clean, and enough of a selection. I wish we stopped in to them earlier on our trip.

The flat itself had all that we needed and more; including hairdryer, full kitchen, washer and dryer. We ate breakfast home daily and made dinner or had snacks after a late lunch out nightly. I'm sure that saved loads on our food bills!

I was surprised that the pull down Murphy bed was as comfortable as it was, and there were more than enough blankets and pillows to choose from if needed.

Perfectly suited for our needs as we left early morning, returning at the end of day to eat something and retire!

This central London apartment is situated in an attractive garden square in the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The spacious studio makes an ideal alternative to hotel accommodation. It is a perfect base for visiting the iconic sights of London, shopping in the fabulous stores, visiting the theatres of the West End or going to galleries and exhibitions. The apartment is only a few minutes walk (0.2 mile) from the underground station at Earls Court giving easy access to all the top sightseeing locations. South Kensington's famous museums are just 1 mile away (two stops on the tube) and shopping at Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Sloane Square, the King's Road or Oxford Street couldn't be more convenient. The green, open spaces of Hyde Park and Kensington Palace Gardens are also within easy reach, as is the exhibition centre at Olympia.

A wide variety of restaurants are just around the corner together with a range of shops and services plus a 24 h supermarket.
