About Amanda Oliver
I spend my time between the apartment in London and Dorset, where I live in the oldest house in the county. It has a thatched roof and was built in 1500., set in the middle of farm land. So a total contrast
Amanda Oliver purchased this Apartment in 2011
Why Amanda Oliver chose Redcliffe
I bought this apartment for my daughter who was studying in London at the time. I wanted somewhere centrally located with good transport links. Also an area where you can feel safe when walking home late at night.
What makes this Apartment unique
A fantastic library of books, collected by my grandparents and parents.

A pleasant studio apartment
We found everything as described and enjoyed our stay. The location is good and the area was pleasant. The description should perhaps note that this is a semi basement flat which entails keeping blinds down quite a lot and some narrow steps down to gain access. Regardless though we would be happy to come back.
We stayed 11 nights in Chelsea. The apartment is comfortable, good for a couple; and buses are nearby as well as the underground. (We used the buses a lot.) The street is noisy, but it didn't seem to bother us much. We would stay here again and go to the Finborough Theater down the street!
Thank you for your review... so glad you enjoyed your visit. Looking forward to seeing you again.
Comfortable, good location
My friend and I stayed for 2 weeks at this charming Chelsea flat in Feb. The flat is clean, and is conveniently located a few blocks from the Earl's Court tube station. This studio apartment is small, but comfortably accommodated the two of us. The kitchen is fully set up and it was great to have the clothes washer/dryer as well. When we had problems figuring out how to use a couple of the flat's features, Amanda was quick to respond with answers. Lots of restaurants, pubs and grocery stores nearby. If you're here on a Sunday do check out the neighborhood farmer's market at Earl's Court Square for delicious home baked breads, pastries, quiches, fresh vegetables and organic milk and eggs. Thank you Amanda!
A lovely place from which to explore London.
This apartment is a basement studio in a great location. The kitchen is well equipped, and the washing machine was a godsend. Amanda was great with communication, and very generously accommodated a slightly later checkout than normal.
Central location / easy tube connections
Great flat, close to West Brompton/Earl's court Tube stations. Kitchen fitted out w Stove, Hob for tea, toaster, micro and fridge. If you are a football fan, Chelsea stadium is Very close to the property! Buy your tickets in advance!!
So glad you enjoyed your stay. Please come and visit again.
Great place to stay in London
Small space but perfect for seeing London. Just what we were looking for and a great location. Amanda was easy to work with. She provided a great set of tips and information. Nice to arrive on our own schedule and pick up keys from a lockbox. The apartment is garden level which turned out to be a plus because it was quieter at night. Lots of nearby restaurants, food markets, public transportation. Our security deposit was promptly returned. Would book this property again. Thanks Amanda for sharing your home!
The flat is in an excellent position for the restaurants and bars of the Fulham, Kings and Hollywood Road, a good selection of pubs, with gardens. Two cinemas are a few minutes walk away. There are also a very good selection of shops, from food, fashion, antiques, old fashioned butchers and fishmongers, chemists within a two minute walk. All the museums in South Kensington are a 20 minute walk, through some of the most exclusive residential streets in London or a short bus ride. Harrods is also within walking distance or a short bus ride. The flat is close to Earls Court Tube which is on the District and Piccadilly lines. Bus stops opposite take you to Kensington High Street, Notting Hill and Portobello Road, or to the South Bank, via Houses of Parliament and other main London attractions. Earls Court exhibition centre is also just down the road. For some peace the beautiful and historic Brompton Cemetery is also close by, which is one of the Royal Parks.
