AreaThe area Delle Vittorie (north of the city, close to the Aurelian Walls and the Tiber river) was born as "Milvio" in 1911, and during the urban reorganization of 1909 was renamed "Delle Vittorie" in memory of the victory of the Great War. This is a residential neighborhood but is also home to the Rai Headquarters (Italian state televison network) and the Court of Auditors, as well as theaters, cinemas and restaurants of all kinds. Five of the most beautiful bridges of Rome are located right in this area (Ponte Milvio, Ponte Duca d'Aosta, the Risorgimento Bridge, Ponte Matteotti, Ponte della Musica); moreover, it is located near major museums, including the Museum of Physics and Natural Sciences of Mamiani, the Astronomical and Copernican Museum and the Historical Museum of Engineers.
