My private Mar Azul resort apartment is of the highest possible quality. It is elegantly designed in the attractive Mediterranean style. The apartment features spacious 2 bedrooms and generous lounge area, along with 2 marble bathrooms (with under-floor heating, and the en-suite has a Jacuzzi), a large kitchen area to provide self catering which has all the modern appliances fitted, and generously-proportioned terrace which overlooks exotic gardens, the infinity pool and the Mediterranean sea beyond . . .

There is an excellent 6-seat dinning and seating area. The apartment sleeps up to 4 people - however i can arrange for a sofa-bed that would allow for an additional 2 people to sleep in complete comfort. The apartment receives the full share of the sun with great ocean views. The lounge area and the master bedroom offer panoramic views and both lead to the private terrace area . There is adjustable lighting to help create that perfect ambience.

Golf Information: Golf is undoubtedly one of our most popular pastimes, it is a year round sport.

There are more than 40 excellent courses around Mar Azul to choose from. Here i mention just some of the favourites, many of which offer special golf packages, reduced green fees and in some instances pre-reserved tee-off times. Only minutes away from Mar Azul you will find several Championship golf courses: Los Flamingos (soon 72 holes), El Paraiso Golf, Atalaya Golf (36 holes), Guadalmina Golf (36 holes), Estepona Golf, Aloha Golf, Los Naranjos Golf, Las Brisas Golfy La Quinta Golf (36 holes).

Unforgettable Experiences: Location! Location! Location!

My apartment in this resort encompasses two privately-owned apartment wings embracing a magnificent infinity pool, stretching out southwards to the sea. The apartment is part of the hotel complex, so guest enter through the grand entrance hall, and are encouraged to avail themselves of the reception area, lounges, bar, spa, beauty treatment rooms, indoor heated swimming pool and a large terrace overlooking superbly-manicured subtropical gardens and pools. Of course there are excellent views of the sea. The spa ( heated indoor pool , gym and sauna) and the bar and restaurant open during peak season.

There are even ponds and canals where children can play in complete safety as the water is only a few feet deep. Fountains, foot bridges, cascading waterfalls, sunken Jacuzzi and deck-chairs all add up to total beach side heaven. Avail yourself of the comfortable settees under thatched-roofed cabanas; small hideaways of peace and tranquillity.Just outside the beach gates are steps down to the sea.

Kempinski Hotel and Laguna Village: Just a few minutes walk along the beach brings you to the Kempinski Hotel and the Laguna Village, where you will discover outstanding restaurants, fabulous shops, cafes, beach bars, a water sports centre, children's playground, beach volleyball courts and more . . .

Enjoy the fashionable and impressive Puro Beach Club in Laguna Village, which is a big part of what Laguna Village is considered elite. The beautifully decked area overlooks a spectacular infinity pool which is surrounded by stylish yet comfortable white beds and lounges.

Excellent development and a wonderful pool area

Amrik's ground floor two double bedroom apartment is spacious and very comfortable. It has two large bedrooms with storage. The sitting room leads out to the wonderful terrace/garden and the kitchen is fully fitted with a nespresso coffee machine. The pool area is fantastic with a great kids section at one end. The development is located at the quiet end of Estepona and only a short drive to the town, port and supermarket.

We rented the apartment for 3 weeks in the summer 2017 and we all loved it. We would certainly book again.

Jul 2017 - a week at this spacious apartment. High standard accommodation, worked perfectly for our family of four. Fantastic Pool area and very friendly pool bar staff/manager.

The setting was beautiful and our apartment met all expectations.

We were really pleased with the location and the pools and gardens were amazing. The apartment was very well equipped with a huge master bedroom and en-suite leading to a large terrace and garden. The gardens and pool were immaculate. There were good restaurants within walking distance and the beach a few metres away. We would definitely go back. The only downside was lack of beds each day. Unless you went down at 8am, all beds had been taken with towels placed on them. Because of that, we used our terrace but not as nice as being by the pool.

An oasis of calm - beautiful apartment

Amrik's apartment is everything he says it is. We have recently returned from our 4th stay there, and it was, as always an absolute pleasure. The apartment is clean, well furnished, and spacious. Breakfast in the morning on the large terrace, looking at the beautiful, and unusual infinity pool. Complimentary wifi is included, for those of us who can't live without our fix.

Mimi and the other staff are delightful - pleasant and helpful. The Mar Azul complex is secure, and extremely well kept. It would be quite feasible to spend a week or two in-situ, with perhaps only the occasional walk on the beach, or to Crusoes beach bar, a 10 minute walk away. Great for a cold beer and a quesadilla.

Taxis are readily available, and there are numerous excellent restaurants nearby. Try Casa Del Ray in Estepona, or Playa Bella, which is a 5 minute drive away.

I can't think of a single negative think to say about Mar Azul, and this apartment. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Beautiful Apartment, Stunning pool.

Beautiful, modern, well equipped, spacious apartment with large private terrace part lawned and just a few steps from the most amazing pool which is facing the sea. As we were early in the season the pool bar was not open but there is a friendly Bar/Restaurant "Garden Beach" just next door. The owner dealt with our enquiry and booking which was at short notice, very speedily and was most helpful. Mimi at reception was very helpful too, on our arrival and throughout our stay. Just a 10 minute walk to the lovely Laguna Village, partly through the Kempinski Hotel and partly on a busy road, Laguna Village is a very trendy development on the beach with lovely bars and shops a little more pricey but very pretty and good restaurants. Supermarket is a 5 minute drive although we liked to walk there for breakfast sometimes, as it has a nice cafeteria with outside seating (25 min pleasant walk). Estepona town 5 minutes drive or taxi 7 Euros, but again we sometimes preferred to walk approx 40 mins. Estepona has lots of nice bars and restaurants our favourite being the Casa del Rey a modern Tapas Bar and Restaurant, best Tapas and reasonably priced. Although the apartment is on the beach the section outside the apartment is not particularly well kept or inviting although the views are beautiful and a lovely coastal walk, there are nicer areas of beach very close by. Great location for visiting San Pedro, Marbella, Porta Banus, Mihas etc. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to return in the near future.

The resort (Mar Azul) is situated in a beautiful part of the Costa Del Sol on the 'New Golden Mile' along the beach, and a mere 45 minutes drive from Malaga Airport. This beautiful site has uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean including views of the African Coast as well as the famed Rock of Gibraltar.The privileged beachfront location is only fitting for this exclusive, high-class resort enclosed by lush, subtropical gardens with cascades, waterfalls, exotic plants and palm trees.It is in immediate proximity to the five-star Kempinski Hotel with its many fabulous restaurants, pool facilities and water sports. If you require a chic 'hang-out by the sea' then a five minute stroll along the Puro beach brings you to the new Laguna Village. Here you have 28 stylish shops, fine dining, bars, a spa, yoga, meditation and a DJ to bring you in a smooth state of mind. It is only 15 minutes drive to Puerto Banus with its vibrant night life and amazing harbour, restaurants and bars.

Balance due 60 days before holiday. A damage fund of 100 Euro will be held and returned on day of leaving or within 5 working days depending on type of payment.

Changeover Day:
Arrival is usually after 2.30pm and departure before 10.00am. This can be varied by prior arrangement.
