The principal bedroom has a Four Poster King sized 1.5m x 2m bed and en suite bathroom with roll top bath: the second bedroom with antique 1.07m wide by 2m long twin beds and ensuite bathroom with large walk-in shower.

On the ground floor there is a comfortable sitting room with a Clearview wood burning stove, television, the fully fitted Kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and dining area, and the utility room with washing machine.

Situated in a peaceful location within the beautiful grounds of a country house with private parking, 2 acres of gardens including a Rose Garden, Victorian Walled Kitchen Garden, lawns and herbaceous borders. It is surrounded by meadows and orchards with views towards the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean.

It was fantastic. Great owners and location. This is perfect for a quiet retreat! Lovely property.

It was more than we expected. The whole place was clean and beautifully presented. The bathrooms were great, roll-top bath in one and a powerful shower in the other. Everything is spot-on. Woodburner and very well equipped kitchen.

Max and Jenny are superb hosts too, very welcoming and made our stay perfectly.

The location is perfect for visiting the surrounding areas, so much to see and do. Walk, via the back lanes, to the Yew Tree Inn for the cider, just great.

A very nice week, thank you Max and Jenny. Hope to see you again.

Charming, comfortable, cozy apartment for a relaxing break.

We all loved the apartment, 2 adults and 2 teens. All of the rooms were beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well equipped. There was room for us all to relax and have our own space and the living room was very cosy to spend time together. The wood burner was especially welcome as the weather outside was grey and dull and we came home wet.

Jenny and Max were welcoming hosts and we had an easy drive to canoeing and walks.

I would highly recommend this apartment for a break from the busyness of life.

Lovely "off the beaten track" apartment in great location.

This is a lovely apartment, well presented and very comfortable. Jenny and Max are excellent hosts and a very nice touch of having a cream tea provided on arrival. Good location to explore the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Very good walks nearby and great pubs to enjoy the local food.

The amount quoted to you by the website will be incorrect! This is because the OD website will not accept the the way we charge!

We charge a rate for a 3night stay which is quoted and then a daily rate to add to the 3night rate

eg in high season the 3 night rate is £380 and the extra night rate is £75 so that 4nights cost £455 and 5 nights £530, but the OD system will quote you more than this for 4 & 5nights because it is designed to use an extra night rate of 1/3 the 3 night rate ie £126.67.

My apologies for this but we will quote you the lower= correct price for 4 & 5 night stays before we confirm your booking
