THE APARTMENT

Charming and spacious south facing 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom open plan ground floor apartment. The popular screened porch and outdoor patio leads out onto mature gardens and a swimming pool. The apartment is located in a quiet and peaceful residential area but only a couple minutes by car to the town centre, marina, beach and supermarkets. Perfect for families or couples!

The apartment is spacious with an open plan layout and includes 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a newly furbished kitchen and a dining/living area. It is located in a small complex of 24 privately owned apartments in the outskirts of Lagos. The apartment is comfortably furnished and has all the necessary equipment for a holiday or long stay. Local TV and wifi internet is also available.

PERFECT FOR WINTER & SPRING LETS

The apartment is excellent for winter lets with its south facing position and year round sunny screened porch and patio.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT

The check-in time is from 3pm to 10pm. Late arrivals will be charged an additional €25.

MEET AND GREET

We will meet all guests on arrival and give tips on how to make the most of their stay in Lagos. Thereafter we give them their privacy and space to enjoy their holiday but are only a call or text message away if they need any assistance or information.

Lead guest must be over 25 years of age.

NEIGHBOURHOOD

The apartment is minutes away by car from the beaches, town centre, marina and supermarket. The railway station and bus depot are also minutes away by car or a 15-20 minute walk.

Lagos, one of the most popular towns in the Algarve is a top holiday destination and has it all! From history to culture, beaches and climate to a lively, easygoing and friendly atmosphere all year round. Steeped in history it was from here that Henry the navigator set sail on his discoveries along with many other Portuguese explorers.

A walk across the Marina footbridge will lead you into the heart of the old town where you will find a very quaint typically Portuguese town with a maze of narrow cobbled streets and café lined squares, many shops, bars restaurants and entertainment. There are many places of interest to visit such as museums, churches, historical monuments and a mini-zoo. Activities in and around Lagos include boat trips along the coast, dolphin tours, fishing, surfing, diving, kayaking and much more.

Lagos is easy to reach from Faro or Lisbon airport with direct bus routes.

Although we left your Albardeira apartment already two weeks ago it is

to us like only yesterday.



We enjoyed our stay in your very well maintained and comfortable

apartment a lot and had a good time there. Besides, Lagos is a very good

place for a holiday and we liked it better than the other (big) cities

on the coast we visited.



Special thanks to José for his good ideas where to go and what to see,

and also for interesting explanations of tourism of the Algarve coast

etc. which we appreciated a lot.



After leaving your apartment we travelled along the Algarve coast to the

Spanish border and followed the Rio Guadiana to Mertola, where we spent

two days, and from there to Lisbon, where we also spent some days. So we finally came back home last week.



We will recommend your apartment to our friends who have already

travelled on the Algarve coast but have not been to Lagos.





Thanks a lot again for a great stay, and perhaps we come again one day

(when I am retired and have more time for travelling ;-) ).

Great pool and Garden area...but

Carla and Jose guided us by phone to the apartment as there were lots of road works on the N 125. They gave us good general advise regarding the area and eating places in Lagos and the marina area. The garden and pool areas are beautiful and so peaceful. I found you need a car to get around as there is rather a large hill to climb on your return from the town etc. The apartment was deceptively large but every internal door tended to stick and my wife got stuck in the bathroom 2 or 3 times. The beds were extremely hard to sleep on and we had some really uncomfortable nights. Lovely couple and to be fair Jose said he was not aware of the internal door problems and would get them looked at but overall the apartment is said to be "traditional" but in reality could do with an upgrade.

Very nice apartment in lovely quiet situation

Lovely apartment situate in a quiet situation with secluded private garden area with swimming pool. It is very comfortable and well equipped. It is within easy walking distance of the marina and the town centre. Lagos is a very nice town with a historic central area and beautiful beaches. Car beneficial for exploring the surrounding areas with many worthwhile places to see

Close to everything ...yet far enough out of the centre for peace and quiet

We were three senior ladies andCarla and Jose apartment was perfect for our needs . It was extremely clean and well stocked . ( The welcome bottle of wine was most appreciated ,!!) it's much larger than it looked on the web site.

Jose was there to great us , and gave us many tips on we're to shop and some great restaurants to eat . . The gardener Jose

was also very helpful and spoke exceptional English .

We had a super time , I know most people think you need a car ,but we walked everywhere. We also used the bus and the train .. We took the bus to Burgau and then walked along the cliffs to Luz . The views were breathtaking and the spring flowers , wild thyme ,rosemary and lavender .took our breath away. On another day we walked from Lagos to Luz along the cliffs . Again we were left speechless at the beauty . We then took the bus back to Lagos.

I had the most incredible duck dinner at a restaurant called Forja . There were 5 of us and we had 2 1/2 portions and there was food left over . (8.95 € ) a portion. It is a speciality on Sunday's for lunch and they fill up fast ,so come early ., they are closed for a few months in winter and had just opened again in mid March when we were there .

I would highly recommend Carla and Jose's apartment to anyone for a long term stay in beautiful Lagos
