The recently built apartment is on the ground floor of a privately owned villa which is occupied by the owners. Approximately 70 sq. meters, the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen/living area, bathroom with bath and shower, laundry area and two bedrooms.
The villa enjoys an outstanding position on a hillside overlooking the Italian Riveria and Cote D'Azur with panoramic views of the sea and mountains. The apartment is south facing with spectacular views overlooking the Mediterranean stretching from Monaco, Roquebrune Cap Martin, Cap Ferrat and as far as Antibes. On a clear day it is possible to see the lovely island of Corsica which can be reached by ferry from Nice.
The main bedroom has a double bed with French windows opening onto a small terrace. The second bedroom has two single beds which can be arranged into a double bed if required. The living area and bedrooms overlook the swimming pool and enjoy lovely views of Monaco. The swimming pool is shared with the owners and occasionally with visiting family members.There is a sunny private terrace with sea views for dining and sunbathing and an additional terrace surrounding the infinity pool.
Right on the Alta Via hiking trail which stretches 400 kilometres from Ventimiglia to Genoa, the property is an ideal location for walkers and nature lovers.Shops, restaurants and beaches are a short drive away and there is an excellent local rail service for exploring the Italian and French coasts, the French border being just a few miles away. There are some excellent restaurants nearby serving pizza, fresh seafood and typical Ligurian dishes.
Situated in the lovely Nervia valley and close to the medieval villages of Dolceacqua, Apricale and the spa town of Pigna, the property is also just short drive from a number of Blue Band award winning beaches . A few minutes takes you down the hill to supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities.The Friday street market on Ventimiglia seafront is a popular outing for bargain hunters. Fete du Citron ( Lemon Festival) and Nice Carnevale take place in February and Monaco Grand Prix in May. All are a short drive or train journey away. The ski resort of Limone is 60 kms. away and can also be reached by train. The closest beach is Camporosso al Mare, a Blue Band winner, which is a ten minute drive away. Nice Cote D'Azur airport is just an hour away with frequent flights from the UK, Ireland and the rest of Europe.
