This lovely 2 bedroom apartment is on the raised ground floor of a 1930s block in the very heart of Berlin, close to the famous Ku'damm. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with twin beds arranged together as a double bed and another bedroom with twin beds arranged apart. There is also a fifth (sofa) bed in the living room. The living room is a good size and has two sofas and a large flat screen TV and DVD player for guests. There is also a table which, for larger parties, can be used as a dining table and, for working visitors, as a desk. There is a stylish new granite-and-tile bathroom with glass shower cubicle and a smart glossy white kitchen, with full size oven and hob. The new kitchen also has a small dining area, with view of the garden. Garden views are also enjoyed from the large bedroom. The flat manages to be both smart and stylish and also warm, cozy and comfortable. Best of all, it is only minutes away from the Ku'damm and Metro Station Adenauer Platz.

The best thing about this apartment is its location - just by the entrance to the tube (U7), which makes arrival from Schönefeld very easy. Just get the X7 or 171 from outside the terminal door, to Rudow (about 10 mins) where you pick up the U7 almost to the apartment door (get off at Konstanzer Strasse and choose the Brandenburgische Strasse exit). You are also geographically (and tranport-wise) very close to Tegel Airport.

Just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time in Berlin. The flat was great: comfy, quiet and clean and in a really good position for all transport, cafes, shopping and supermarkets (and bars!).
As a family we all said what a great holiday it was - Berlin is amazing and staying for a week gave us time to really get into it.
We decided to take the train from Charlottenberg to Shönefeld airport rather than the hot U-bahn. It was a lovely journey.
The flat is well equipped and quiet. A little noise from the road but nothing that bothered us. We caught the train from Charlottenberg most days, less than 10 mins walk away and very convenient and cheap.
The housekeeper was v friendly and accommodating to our requests. The info /tourist guides in the flat also came in handy. The wifi was put to good use too!

We spent a lovely week at this flat over the New Year period and found the apartment to be very comfortable and suited all our needs. It is conveniently located in a quiet residential area, close to the famous Ku'damm shopping street and a minute's walk of local underground transport and buses. The famous Charlottenburg Palace and the zoo are very nearby by bus and it is easy to reach Central Berlin by bus or UBahn for the amazing array of museums, sights and restaurants. We found a lovely Italian restaurant around the corner from the flat and the local supermarket offers a reasonable selection of food and supplies. The flat was lovely and warm (as it was below freezing outside) and comfortably furnished with a double bedroom and another bedroom with two single beds. Although we only ate breakfast at the flat, we found the kitchen to be well equipped and very clean. The owner was promptly responsive to my email requests and provided good customer service. I would definitely recommend this flat to a friend.
We really enjoyed our stay in this flat over Christmas. The flat was very clean and tidy with two good sized bedrooms and a lovely warm comfortable living room. We were pleasantly surprised by how well equipped the kitchen was (we’ve found this is a rarity with self catering apartments) and there was a big fridge/freezer and a proper cooker. The kitchen itself isn’t huge but it has a small table and chairs where you can sit and look out over the pretty garden. We enjoyed sitting in the living room, it was really cosy with the added benefit of a large TV and reliable wifi. The flat itself is well situated, right by a Metro station on the U7 line and is also near the Kurfürstendamm. We really enjoyed how peaceful the flat was whilst being so well connected, it was a lovely place to spend time in over the Christmas period. The beds were also super comfy so we were able to catch up on some much needed sleep. The owner was friendly and efficient and the lady who met us at the flat was kind and helpful. We’ll definitely be staying again when we’re next in Berlin!
Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in Berlin verbracht, und nicht zuletzt wegen dieser Wohnung. Die lag sehr verkehrsgünstig, 3 Minuten von der U-Bahn Station, 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Ku'damm.
Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, hell und ruhig und beinhaltete alles, was man so braucht. Die Vertreterin des Vermieters vor Ort war sehr nett und pünktlich und die ganze Abwicklung mit Herrn Wickham war absolut unkompliziert, zuverlässig und schnell. Wir würden diese Wohnung weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles.
Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung. WLAN inklusive. Toller Ausgangspunkt für Touren in und um Berlin. 100 Meter zur nächsten U-Bahn Haltestelle. Sehr netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter, völlig problemlos. Jederzeit wieder, nur zu empfehlen. Auch mit Kindern.
As the last review was over a year ago, just wanted to say that after a recent stay in this apartment, I can only reiterate what the previous reviewers have said and now there is wifi as well!
Wilmersdorf is possibly central Berlin's finest neighbourhood. Until the wall came down in November 1989, the thriving metropolis of West Berlin centered around Wilmersdorf's famous Kurfürstendamm (or 'Ku Damm' as it is known locally). Walk up this broad up-market avenue and you will see all the famous shops, cultivating at Tauentzienstrasse, where you will find KDW, Germany's answer to Harrods. Even in a united Berlin, the best parts of the old West Berlin, such as central Wilmerdorf (where the apartment is located), still enjoy some of the greatest concentrations of shops, restaurants, hotels and transport connections. Walk up Ku' dam to the wonderful Berlin Zoo, site of the famous Gedächtniskirche, stopping for shopping, or to eat at one of the hundreds of local restaurants, offering high quality cuisine of every nationality! If you don't fancy walking, the nearest Metro station is just one minute from your front door. Also nearby is the large and picturesque Volkspark Wilmersdorf.
