Thank you for your interest in our home. This newly remodeled four bedroom and three bath home sleeps ten to twelve and sits on one of the best lots on the lake. Located on the southern part of Lake Lanier, the house is only 25 minutes from Atlanta.
Every room in the house has a beautiful view of the lake and nightly sunsets. The four bedrooms include two master bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a comfortable queen-size bed.
The third and fourth bedrooms have two twin beds and a queen-size bed, respectively.
The fully equipped kitchen has a bar with six bar chairs, hardwood floors and opens into one of the two great rooms.
A large screened porch sits off of the great room and overlooks the lake. The lower level great room leads to a glass enclosed sunroom with a panoramic view overlooking the water.
A full sun deck sits off of the lower level.
The yard is gently slopping grass that allows for easy access to and from the water. The canopy of trees provides excellent shade with a westerly breeze to keep you comfortable and cool.
The single slip covered dock with a party/tanning deck and swim platform provides a safe and relaxing environment for friends and family.
The house is located in a private cove excellent for swimming, boating and water recreation. Only seven minutes by boat from Lake Lanier Islands Resort, the amenities of which include a water park, golf, tennis, restaurants and watercraft rental.
You will not find a better lot on the lake.
My family had a reunion at this beautiful spot on the lake. The grounds, lake view, and beautiful sunsets with wonderful golden light enchanted us each day. This house is very comfortable for the lake and was perfect for our large family and a few guests during the week. The owners were a delight to do business with and we will definitely come back next year.
This place was the hub for our family reunion. We had 10 family members 6 adults, 4 kids, (16 mon, 10, 4, 15) who lived in Cumming 20 min away, and we had 7 adults and 3 kids (6, 4, 2) staying at the house. We loved this house. The floor plan allowed for many pockets of activities to go on at the same time. Sometimes the kids played on the upstairs floor to ceiling screened in porch with hanging swing, and table and chairs, and plenty of floor space for building things with legos and blocks. It also had a gorgeous view of lake and tall standing pines, and another view of the play equipment in the side yard. That made it easy to monitor any kids from the porch that were playing on the fort/swing set/slide. The huge living room had leather seating area (with sleeper sofa) for TV/DVR viewing, and a clear view of the kids playing on the porch. The sliding glass doors to the porch kept the noise outside.
The upper level has 3 bedrooms. The description on the web is confusing. Maybe my description will help. The Master bedroom with it's view of the lake had a kIng bed and it's own bathroom and sitting area. The 2nd bedroom had a queen bed with a "Jack and Jill" bathroom that connected with the 3rd bedroom. This 3rd bedroom had 4 twin beds in a row with plenty of room to move around. The kitchen area had great seating for 12, and the long counter area was perfect for food prep too. Note: This house has a wonderful LARGE walk-in pantry making it so nice to organize our stuff.
Downstairs was the 4th bedroom with a King bed, bathroom in the hallway and its own living room with tv too. It was perfect to put kids down there for nap time, as none of the other activity noise could be heard down there. Another porch downstairs, only this one was glass enclosed, had a daybed in it, and "gramps" loved waking up in the morning and having a view of the lake. Windows crank open for the breeze off the lake. There is also an access door to the outside patio from the porch door wall. The patio has a small propane grill and seating area. The dock was used for swimming, and kids fishing, ( some perch, bass, blue gill and set them free). We docked my sister's pontoon boat and jet ski there. The upper deck is a sun deck to catch some rays and breeze. I had a medical condition that made it hard for me to walk, but Walter has a golf cart to rent that makes it easier to carry stuff up and down the hill, and a paddle boat that was so much fun too! Walter is great!
My family and I spent a wonderful weekend at this house. Everything was very neat and clean when we arrived. There was plenty of room for my family (4 adults and 8 kids). The kids loved the swing set and large, wooded back yard. The owner was quick to respond to emails, and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a VRBO in the Cumming area - we'll definitely stay there again the next time we're in the area.
The owner of this home was very responsive to all of my emails and calls. We wanted to rent this beautiful home next summer but due to circumstances beyond our control we had to cancel our reservation. Walter was extremely understanding. It is very refreshing to deal with such a nice person.
As many have said pictures don't do this home justice. Beautiful, clean, huge kitchen for cooking. Lots of space to spread out if you have a large group. Great view of the lake. Very clean! Owner was great at answering questions and quick to respond. Hope to stay here again :)
We enjoyed our stay very much. The sunset views are spectacular and the house is very comfortable and peaceful. I stayed by myself for 3 nights and then my girlfriend came up as well as my husband. It is a safe area and the Grocery Store is close by and it is located in a very nice location. We rented a boat at Paradise Boat Rentals at Port Royale and found them to be very accomodating and friendly. You will love your stay here. Port Royale is lovely and they have a nice outdoor restaurant so you can have lunch after boating on the lake, or have some cocktails. You will definately enjoy your stay!!! We also went on a hike to the Amicalola Falls and that is a must see!!! Absolutely beautiful.
Lake Lanier Islands Water Park is less than 15 minutes by boat.
