Beach Front Home With Central Air And A Dock!
About Garon VanOverloop
Hi my name is Garon, my wife Nicole and I purchased this property in 2003 and completed a full remodel from the foundation up in 2010. We truely admire this property because of the great beaches available along with the various activities and attractions in the area. This property is special to us and our family as an escape from the hassles of everyday life.

Why Garon VanOverloop chose Waterford
Pleasure Beach is a unique place where memories are made.
What makes this House unique
Offset from this property is a public beach access known as kiddie beach. This area is a great place to fish for striped bass and shellfishing. A three-minute walk from the house is a small grocery store where you can pick up great sandwiches last minute items, and shellfishing permits from Jordan Cove. There are seasonal fireworks along with seasonal festivals in neighboring Niantic and New London. There is a public access boat launch approximately 500 yards away.

Wedding weekend with family
The Reed house was very clean and had all the amenities needed for a family with children to stay. The children had great fun using the kayaks and going to the beach a short walk away. Communication with the host was quick and courteous. We had a great stay!
Lovely scenic setting!
Peaceful and relaxing
We renting this property for a family gathering for my mothers 80th birthday. She loves the water so it couldn't have been more perfect, we cooked out, sat on the deck and at low tide, walked out onto the beach. The house was open and inviting and the location is close to many activities, again perfect. Thank you for making your home available to be pursued for a short time, we really enjoyed it, more importantly my mom had a great birthday and loved it!
It’s a clean, small house with a pretty view of the water and a short walk to the beach. We had a lovely weekend there.
Wonderful view. lovely home
This is our second stay here at the Reed house and we loved it as much as the first time. The weather was a little more favorable for a stroll around the neighborhood and a walk on the mud flats during low tide. The home has everything you need and is very tastefully decorated and cozy warm. The hosts are accessible and accommodating. We had a wonderful weekend.
Great experience. Everything exactly as described. Lovely home with great view.
Spent a great Thanksgiving with the family. Will stay again in the summer to take advantage of the ocean/beach.
The Reed House is located in the middle of great offshore saltwater fishing where there are many charter boats to choose from. "The Race" is a southern New England fishing hole known to trophy striped bass and bluefish. There are also ferries to Orient Point, Long Island and Block Island. Both trips are just over 1 hour away. Aside from great fishing and boating, you can find great family and nightlife from downtown Niantic to Downtown New London. 25 minutes north you can find the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Resort Casino.
