Your delightful village cottage
The cleanliness of the cottage was to a very high standard and was very well equipped.
The keyholder in Harlech was most helpful on the occaasion when we telephoned.
We were ideally located for visiting Portmeirion and Snowdon too
Very nice and cosy house and beautiful view. I really recommend it
Excellent Welsh holiday cottage
Highly recommended holiday cottage, owned and operated by courteous proprietors. Harlech is a great location for a holiday in North Wales, and the homely cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay, we especially liked the wood burner in the living room. We experience no issues to note after a seven night stay.
Home from home.
The property is a great base to explore Snowdonia. Everything you need and a parking space included. The pictures don't do this place justice. We used the log burner a couple of nights and the view from the top terrace of the garden is beautiful. Harlech is lovely with a couple of decent restaurants. We ate at As.Is and got a takeaway from the Indian. You will need to book if you want to eat locally though as they book up fast. The local pub was being refurbished when we visited, which was unfortunate, but We travelled into Porthmadog for a couple of nights which is a short drive away. The castle had an event on so that entertained the kids and the beach was beautiful and not too busy. The hills are a bit of a workout but the views are amazing. Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely cosy cottage
We had a most enjoyable stay in this lovely cottage. It is small and very cosy, but well equipped with everything you need. The location is great - yes it’s a very steep hill and parking maybe a challenge, but the views are worth it! The whole area is stunning and we shall return. Mark was very helpful with our late request to change dates and other information. We also recommend the Castle Bistro for super food and service.
This is a lovely cottage - very comfy . Beds were comfy, instructions were good. Very good value. Internet fine for basics as owner says but dips in and out and definitely no good for anything more than the basics. As the owner has already said the parking is on a VERY steep hill so even if you park a few mins away in the car park the climb is hard going and if you park outside (which we did and managed it nicely with a VW golf) then you need to be comfortable about hill starts lol. We had a great stay - we were playing golf at the Royal St David's - a great and very welcoming Club
Harlech sports centre allows for many of these activities such as tennis, climbing wall, swimming etc, but if you prefer the outdoors then there are plenty of local places which cater for all of the sports and adventure activities.
