Located on the Newport Links Golf Course overlooking Newport Bay and Dinas Head
Overlooking the Newport Links golf course with magnificent views across Newport Bay and the famous Preseli Hills. Within a few minutes walk is the long stretch of sandy beach, the Nevern estuary with a multitude of birdlife, Newport golf course and the coastal path.
A drive of about 5 minutes or a 25-minute scenic walk along the estuary brings you to the picturesque village of Newport nestling at the foot of the Preseli Hills and Carningli (Mountain of Angels).
Newport provides a good range of local shops, pubs and excellent restaurants. This popular village boasts a beautiful sandy beach, nearby coves, boating and sea facilities, golf, tennis, cycling, walking, riding, fishing and dolphin spotting in the bay. Newport is conveniently situated between St Davids and Cardigan in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The Nevern estuary is a haven for bird life providing a wonderful treat for bird lovers.
Guests staying at Treftadaeth are welcome to enjoy the Golf Club facilities and will be eligible for reduced ‘guest prices’, should they wish to play the 18-hole golf course. They will also have access to the Club’s spacious bar/restaurant and large patio, all providing spectacular panoramic views.
An open plan apartment that sleeps 2-4 in a double bed and a double bed settee. The sitting area where the corner bed settee is located is set in front of patio doors that lead out onto the patio area. The dining table seats up to 4.
The apartment has a digital TV and a well-equipped, newly fitted Wren kitchen, comprising a double hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, toaster and slow-cooker.
The bathroom has a shower, bath, wash hand basin and W.C.
The small south facing patio overlooks the Golf Course and has a seating area for 4 offering glorious views over Newport Bay across to Dinas Head.

We are a retired couple and spend much of our time in this beautiful, unspoilt part of Wales. Please note: we do not allow pets in the apartment.

Amazing location on the Newport Sands Golf Club, with breathtaking panoramic views of Newport Bay, Dinas Head and the Preseli mountains. An ideal getaway, quiet and tranquil but all local amenities can be found a scenic 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive away in the village of Newport. The area is particularly loved by walkers (located on the Pembrokeshire National Park) wildlife fans and bird watchers.

Luxury open plan apartment, (recently been refurbished). Access to the onsite Golf Club, which has a bar/restaurant and serves light lunches, snacks and evening meals (wifi also available at club). Guests are eligible for a discount on golf fees and free parking on the Newport Sands Beach. Please note, due to its location, the apartment is not really suitable for young children.

Apartment is set on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, which runs from St Dogmeals to Amroth in the south, Just up the road from Newport is the Celtic village of Castell Henllys. A great family day out, take a picnic or eat at their cafe. The Welsh Wildlife Centre & Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve is only a 20 minute drive away. The quaint city of St David's with its beautiful cathedral is about an hour's drive away. A 45 minutes drive away is the Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy, which leads to a wonderful cliff top walk to Porthgain where you can stop for lunch the Sloop and visit a number of small art galleries. An hour's drive away there are theme parks such as Oakwood, Bluestone Water Park and Folly Farm. The National Wool Museum is also about an hour's drive away where you can book a free guided tour and then enjoy lunch in their cafe.
