About Sue Charley
My son and I recently purchased this property because we really enjoy Ashland. We were looking for a place where we could walk to town and all that it has to offer. Once we saw this little place we just loved it! It's just beautifully done...we hate leaving! The outside looks like many of the other historical homes in this area, but once we walked in we just felt happy and so enjoyed the beautiful interior. An added bonus are the deer that seem to keep the lawn mowed! We live in Medford, so can be easily available, but come to Ashland often as there is so much to do in this small town.

Wonderful small house in Ashland
We've rented a lot of houses in Ashland over the years and this is probably the most clean, comfortable and well appointed small house we have come across. We're planning another trip this summer and hopefully this place will be available as we're now spoiled and don't want to stay anywhere else.
Charming, comfortable and close to town.
This house is small, but very well furnished. The beds are comfortable and the shower is fabulous! I love waking into town and wandering around the shops.
Clean, comfortable, great location, great amentities.
This house is very comfortable and cute. We had a lovely stay. Thank you!
Incredibly clean and well appointed. Walking distance to downtown Ashland and Shakespeare Festival venues. Host was easy to contact and very accommodating. I'd come back to Ashland just to stay here!
Perfect in every way.
Perfect accommodations, perfect location, and perfect comfort...plus deer. The house is on a quiet street a few blocks from town. We had all the dishes and gadgets we needed to prepare meals, including a grill. The bedrooms have large closets and dressers, and surprisingly comfortable beds (the mattress was really soft but didn’t hurt my back). The bathroom was large and well-stocked; the shower was fantastic. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. Everyone loved the house. This will be a go-to place in Ashland.
Perfect in Every Way!
My sister & I stayed in this charming home while enjoying Ashland. The terrific location enabled us to walk everywhere: to OSF, Farmer's Market, shopping, etc. The house
was welcoming & we really were delighted to find yummy snacks and even a bottle of wine upon our arrival. Thoughtful touches go a long way in ensuring that we'll be back! The house was comfortable, modern and beautiful. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
Shakespearean Theatre, wine tours, rafting, local music and festivals, fishing, hiking, and much more! Jacksonville, only 10 miles away has wonderful summer concerts where you can bring a picnic and enjoy the evening. Grants Pass, about 40 miles north, has a really fun jet boat ride that has options for lunch or dinner. Crater Lake National Park is a nice day trip.
