Enjoyable 5 day stay
Went for a 5 day break with my husband, 2 kids (5 & 2), and 3 in-laws. Beds clean and comfy. Bathrooms and kitchen clean and functional. Family area comfortable and seated us all. We dined on the veranda when weather permitted but didn't use the pool so can't comment on it. Took day trips to Porec to go to Venice and had good meals in local restaurants some days. Kids playground is very basic but walkable from the house. Easy to book, easy to find property with google maps, and overall an easygoing holiday.
Great villa perfect for a family
We had a lovely stay and the kids made great use of the pool. Location is nice and quiet but not far from the lovely coastal town of Porec for days out and activities.
Erich was very helpful and the communication was excellent leading up to our stay.
Second Time Here
Our second time here for some really good family time without too many distractions, kids love the pool. Always as described though town had improved since we were last here. Will come again.
Me and my friends had just finished university and needed a break, this was the perfect way to this, our own holiday, was a perfect place to be. Awesome weather and an even better place to see. Outstanding views and was really easy for us to go out and explore!
Perfect way to celebrate! Recommend to other young professionals and families alike who want a holiday where they can really be themselves and let their hair down!
Fantastic!! can't wait to visit again
Thank you for a wonderful trip. We stayed in September last year (2014) and had a wonderful time. The house was a great size and as a group we had plenty of space to chill out and relax. The pool was lovely and warm and there was lots to do and see. We will be planning another trip later this year and would highly recommend this place to all our friends.
Thanks for the holiday break. Perfect for everyone
We were a group of 9 teachers looking for a great and relaxing Easter holiday and that is exactly what we got. Fabulous Villa with peaceful views. Location close but not too close to Tar Village, Porec Town and sea. A real nice treat. The Villa, pool and walled garden has everything for everyone.
Nearest village is Tar (3 min drive) for basic groceries, bars and cafés and numerous restaurants. Porec (15 min by car) is a wonderful historical town with many events organised throughout the year with great beaches, shopping, marina and the Euphrasius Basilica. Vrsar (25 min) has beaches and a marina. Motovun (1 hour) is truffle country. Pula (45 min) has a Roman Amphitheatre. From Porec a catamaran to Venice takes approximately 2½ hours. Car hire is highly recommended to explore the stunning Istrian scenery.
There are nearby opportunities for swimming, windsurfing, waterskiing, diving, paragliding, table tennis, volleyball, go-carting and horse riding. The house is well positioned as a base from which to visit the famous Roman towns of Porec and Pula, the medieval hill top villages of Motovun and Groznjan, the Venetian built promontory of Rovinj and the spectacular caves at Baredine.

Within 2 kilometres of the Villa there is Tar Golf and Country Club. For other golf centres it is best to search on the internet 'Golf Porec Istria Croatia' which will give you a better feel for golf facilities (either a dedicated Golf and Country Club) or one run by a 4 or 5 star hotel.
