Good for short stay
I have stayed with my family, it was decent stay with very quite neighbour hood. There was small shopping area nearby about 5 mins drive. Disneyland was 30min away by car and Paris was 35min away by car. Car park near Eiffel tower was 30€ for 24hrs. The car park name is 25 Quai Branly, 75007 Paris, the kitchen was too small. Overall stay was worth the money.
east of paris
a very pleasant property situated in a handy position between the centre of Paris and Disneyland. The tram actually goes directly to disneyland! Property was very clean and the air conditioning was handy!
A very pleasant stay!
The owner is a very nice person, apartment was exactly what we (family of 5) needed and the location is great, between Paris and Disneyland, in a quiet and friendly town.
I first want to say the our host was very nice and friendly when we interacted with her in person. We got there late to check in, my phone had died and we had gotten lost and had no way of communicating this to our host. We had previously asked her to come earlier than the check in time, so I felt terrible. I really appreciate that she took the time to come early for us.
However, we had quite a few issues with our stay.
Leading up to our stay, our host took very long to reply to messages. She had mentioned being on vacation prior to the trip, but this continued while we were in Paris. It was very frustrating when we needed an answer in less than 24 hours. It seemed like I would send a message and instead of replying, she would just show up randomly.
We didn’t realize how far this place was from the center. Perhaps we should have done more research, but it takes about an hour to get to touristy areas like the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame. This is no fault of the host but we wanted to make sure others knew. There are two nearby train stations: Noisy-Le-Grand station is 12 minutes by foot and you can also take the bus from Rue de Aerostiers (sp?) bus stop to Noisy Champs train station. It’s a 5 minute walk to that bus stop.
The place was moderately clean; my aunt found hair on her bed and didn’t sleep on the sheets for the duration of our stay. The plates were not all clean and some were still wet from the previous guest.
The shower/ tub was frustrating. The ceiling above it tilts halfway through the tub so you have to be mindful of the angle while you shower. It’s not an overhead shower and the hose doesn’t stretch far. May be difficult to stand up and shower for tall people.
The TV’s sound turns off after 15 minutes or so. It crackles and then goes silent. We brought this up to the host and she sent her husband to fix it, however it still wasn’t fixed. She told us that a previous guest had changed the settings, and if the sound turned off while watching, we should turn off the TV and turn it back on after 5 minutes.
Checking out was frustrating because the host did not send a message telling us where to leave the keys and didn’t reply to my message asking where to leave them. She showed up randomly close to when we were leaving and took the keys and walked around the apartment to check the state of it.
This was an okay stay for the price we paid, but I wouldn’t stay here again if I were in Paris.
Great little apartment and very cleverly set up, the kitchen area is small but had all we needed.
We had a fantastic stay, it was perfectly situated for our time in the city centre and Disneyland.
