A very modern 2 bedroom apartment in a safe gated complex with video controlled entrance.This luxury apartment is furnished to a high standard and is on a ground floor of a small gated complex of 16 units. Entrance is electronically controlled. All rooms are spacious. Kitchen has oven,hob,fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, iron, ironing board. All utensils needed for cooking and dining. The open-plan lounge has a sofa and a sofa bed. TV, DVD, satellite, central sound system. Remote control electric fire, the dining table seats six. The master bedroom has king size bed, large built in wardrobe,air conditioning, with a safe . It also has en suite with shower. Bedroom 2 has twin beds a large wardrobe,air conditioning & patio doors to outside seating area. Bathroom 2 has jacuzzi bath, shower, bidet and WC. The apartment can sleep six.
Bonjour Mme Jones,nous avons trouve votre appartement tres agreable,bien meuble et joilment decore.Il est dans un cadre calme et securise.Etant deux couples,nous avons apprecie davoir deux salles de bain et deux W.C.Au niveau equipement(mobillier,machine a laver,lave-vaisselle,salon de jardin,barbecue,acces a la piscine)rien ne manquait.Les petites choses qui nous ont manquees:pas d'acces a internet comme indique dans l'annonce.En tant que Francais amateurs de cafe et de cuisine,une cafetiere electrique aurait ete appreciee,ainsi que quelques ustensiles de cuisine(casseroles,poeles)Un peu plus de vaisselle permettrait d'optimiser l'usage du lave-vaisselle.Globalement,c'est un appartement tres agreable que nous conseillerons volontiers a nos amis.Cordialement Mme Girard
We've had a great week in this lovely apartment. There is everything you could wish for in a holiday apartment and it is very clean. The swimmingpool is nice and clean and there are loungers you can use. The reception by the lady who does the checkin was very friendly.
The distance to the beach and Albufeira is quite big , but we had a rental car which we could park in the parkinggarage underneath the apartment building.
There are some restaurants at walking distance which serve good food at a low price.
If friends of ours would want to go to the Algarve we would definitely recommend this apartment!
The property is very well equiped with high quality furnishings and fittings. It was very clean and the towels and linen were again good quality. It was fairly quiet while we there and we sometimes had the pool and gardens to ourselves which was great. There is a ten minute walk to the village with a further ten minute walk to the supermarket. Coffee and pasteries in the bakery every morning were lovely. There is a ten minute drive to Albufeira and local taxis are avaiable. A very restful holiday in a quiet village in a beautiful appartment which would suit families and couples, but teenagers
might find it a little quiet.
Ferreiras is a small village 5Km north of Albufeira and is ideal for those who wish to live within the Portugese community,but at the same time,within easy of Albufeira Centre.'The Old Town' and 'The Strip' are approx.5 minutes bycar,local taxi(cheap) or by the Giro(City Bus).Local shops,restaurants(much cheaper eating locally),bars,cafes,large supermarket,local butchers,bakeries,local Regional(daily) and Municipal Markets(twice monthly),banks,chemist,filling station,childrens park etc.are all within easy walking distance of the apartment.
This up and coming suburb of Albufeira is now becoming a favorite for foreigners who wish to reside or buy a second home abroad,as well as the portugese themselves who want to live away from the hustle & bustle of Albufeira Centre.The whole village has a great feel to it and the apartment is centrally located to explore,by car or by train,the whole of Algarve from the Spanish/Portugese border(Vile Real San Antonio)to Cape St. Vincent(the most south westerly point in Europe).The Albufeira train station,which is actually located in Ferreiras,is within 15 minutes walk of the apartment.You can also take the Alfa High Speed train to the city of Lisbon(takes approx.2 1/2 hours).You can actually take the early morning train and return the same evening.The property is situated very close to the connections for the N125(national road)and the A22(the motorway that runs from the Spanish/Portugese border in the east to Lagos in the west).There are 3 Golf Coursesin Albufeira and 6 in nearby Villamoura,which boasts its famous cosmopilatin Marina.
Zoomarine Oceanic Park,Algarve Shopping(with its large Hypermarket,many Line Shops,large Food Court and 9 Cinemas+Retail Park(with the famous Iceland for all your home products)are all within 10 minutes drive from the apartment.Some of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve are within 5-10 minutes drive,including the famous Sao Rafael which has been voted as one of the top 5 in Europe
