Overview

About the property

3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, rural barn, large garden and vineyard.

The Barn at Hebron vineyard is a recently converted dairy barn with enough space to accomodate 7-8 people, self-catering. There are 2 double bedrooms, a bunk bed room and a fold out small double bed in the lounge. The barn has two bathrooms one with a shower and one with a bath. It has a spacious yet cosy feel, with 2 wood burning stoves and all mod cons. It is situated perfectly for exploring the Pembrokeshire coastline.

We have planted a vineyard here in West Wales with the ambition of helping to put Wales on the wine-making map. Guests can enjoy much of the gardens and are welcome to walk through both vineyards within the 13 acre smallholding. Within the gardens there are tree swings, trampoline, climbing aparatus, dens, streams and ponds for children and adults. There is an outdoor patio area behind the barn for barbeques and fires.

The accomodation is ideally situated to explore all of the magnificent coastline in West Wales, packed with secret coves, beaches and walks. Including the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, which is a designated National Trail in Pembrokeshire, southwest Wales. It was established in 1970, and is 186 miles long.

The barn is located within the foothills of the breath taking Preseli Hills with many outstanding walks to enjoy again mostly within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. There are many attractions to suit all tastes within a very short drive, from puffin and dolphin watching to fun and theme parks.

Our cottage is adjacent to the barn so we are on hand in case we are needed. We respect the need for mutual privacy but we are available to help in any way that we can and are happy to share local knowledge to enrich the stay of visitors to the area.

Other points to note

We provide initial wood for the log burning stoves and further logs can be purchased at additional cost (£2.50 per trug). Mobile reception is sketchy in the barn due to the very rural location but there is Wi-Fi so calls are possible from smartphones via , WhatsApp, Viber etc. Otherwise the are a few steps outside where reception is possible.

The property enjoys the benefit of both solar thermal water and solar PV generated electricity.

Paul and Gemma were welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely holiday there.

A lovely house. A well equipped kitchen with a big table great for family meals and activities. And a wonderful garden full of secret places and a huge oak tree with swings.

It was within an hour's drive from lots of interesting towns, castles and sandy beaches. The children loved it.

Cozy cottage in a tranquil setting

  • 5 of 5

We loved the place, wish we had more time to enjoy the setting. Comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen. Jemma was a great hostess and helped us find a cake pan. Would love to stay again. It was the perfect place for our family’s base for exploring SW Wales.

Lovely Stay

  • 4 of 5

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The cottage is modern, but still retains the cottage features. The majority of the cottage was pretty clean and did have all the items you need in a home. I would recommend this cottage for families.
