Stayed 3 nights for the 2nd half of spring break trip with my two teenagers. We all loved it. The views are incredible as shown in the pictures. It was so nice to go down the elevators and walk right out on the strip. We didn't get to the Cosmopolitan pool until the morning we were leaving. I would recommend making it there sooner. Check in was very smooth and room is clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Really made for fantastic vacation. Owner very accommodating to replace one queen with 2 twins so we all had our own bed.
We had an enjoyable stay in this 11th floor penthouse condo (The Jockey Club). The owner was pleasant and easy to deal with and the accommodations suited our family of 5. The pros were the views of the Bellagio water show from our room, the location on the strip (parked the car the whole trip), the comfortable beds, some nice amenities in the Jockey Club office(coffee, popcorn, movies) and access to the Cosmo. Stay away from the 2nd floor where the 1.5 hour timeshare programs are going down. The Cosmo pool on the 14th floor is cool, but not so family friendly. The Jockey Club is part of the Cosmo complex and once you figure out access with the elevators, is pretty convenient. The cons were the outside windows were dirty, the sofa bed mattress was not comfortable, the kitchen and bedroom are the same room and the property as a whole was dated. There was also some uneasiness with the booking and check-in, which turned out OK. Let me explain. The owner is a Dr. that lives in CA and owns multiple units in the building. When booking, I was never quite sure what unit I was getting, but she seemed honest and I put a deposit down with my credit card and then mailed in a check. When I arrived, you check in at the security desk instead of the front desk and was given a key to a room on the 7th floor and upon entering, had a suitcase in it and smelled of an illegal substance. Luckily, I got the kids turned around quickly. We went back down the elevator, suitcases and all and were given the 11th floor keys, which turned out good. But for 15 minutes, with my wife glaring at me, I wondered if my VRBO days were over. She prefers staying in a hotel with room service anyway. But it turned out a very nice place to stay, the owner returned my deposit without a hitch and was pleasant to deal with. She even texted me on check-out day to see if I wanted a late check out. Great location and pretty reasonable for a family of 5, nice owner. I would stay here again, although Vegas is not the best destination for a family friendly trip.
Great stay, great location, great views and great facility. Stayed 3 nights with my wife and 2 grown sons. Plenty of room for us all to spread out and come and go without tripping over each other. Views from the 11th floor were spectacular. I think our window was closer to the Bellagio fountain than the windows at the Bellagio! Check-in through the security office was simple. Communication with the owner was very good. This unit was the the same price (this weekend there was a marathon going on) as any 2-queen standard hotel room we checked, but we had a suite with all the amenities. We had better views and had easier access to the street for walking than any hotel. (No wandering down and around through the whole casino to the front door. You DO have access directly into the Cosmo if you want.) You won't be disappointed!
We stayed at The Jockey club for 5 nights during October. Prior to travelling the owner was really helpful with any questions asked and responded in a timely manner.
Check in was very simple, very easy to find The Jockey Club.
The room was very clean and fairly large when considered to hotels along the strip.
All utensils and any other items that we needed during our stay. Even the large fridge is a bonus.
The views - well I stayed in numerous Vegas hotels. Even the bellagio itself, but found our view from this room better than any other. Always enjoy just watching the fountains.
Throughout the stay I was in touch with the owner who was very helpful and arranged transport for me as I needed to travel in Vegas.
Great stay with a very helpful owner and really nice apartment
We had the opportunity to meet the owner and her partner when we arrived - very accommodating and conscientious about the cleanliness of the room (which we appreciated). We arrived in the morning and our room was still being cleaned (check-in isn't until late afternoon), although we were able to store our luggage there while we walked the strip. When we got back the room was ready and was clean. The pictures of the fountains do not do it justice. It is much nicer in person and we were still in awe after seven days of seeing the fountain shows. You could not have stayed any closer to the strip just about at the halfway mark. The Jockey Club is a smaller older timeshare attached to the Cosmopolitan and next to the Bellagio. While the facility is a little outdated, it was clean and the room itself worked for us. The Jockey Club does not have any casinos in the lounge, which made for a much quieter facility that we appreciated when it came time to return to the room for the night. The owners were very accommodating and allowed us a later check out on the last day to coincide with our flight. Would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for reasonable accommodations in Las Vegas.
This was a great spot! Once you learn how the elevator system works, you can connect through the Jockey Club and into Cosmopolitan very easily. Jockey Club's pool is hidden in the shade, so we took the elevator from there down to the casino floor of Cosmo and walked over to the elevator inside Cosmo. Take floor 14 and you are at the Bamboo Pool! Was very nice there and like I say, once you figur out what floors you need it's a piece of cake.
Security was excellent and the view from the room was great. Waking up to the Bellagio Fountains will definitely beat most of the views you will find in any other Las Vegas hotel room. We had a fridge, a microwave, dishwasher. Was nice to whip up something quick for a snack. Valet was great. Concession downstairs was nicely stocked with everything, too. Beer, wine, sunscreen, bread, etc. Once you stay here it will kinda spoil you because it's a condo you could live in, as opposed to a hotel room.
Walk out the front door and you are at Planet Hollywood. Take the elevator and you are inside Cosmo. Over to Bellagio (next door) and you can tram to Monte Carlo which is steps away from New York. Can't beat the view and can't beat the location!
