Opposite Lifeboat Slipway - 2 x en-suite bedroom - Guaranteed Parking
The apartment has 2 double en-suite bedrooms and directly overlooks the Lifeboat Slipway. Being on the first floor, with a huge bay window, our flat enjoys some of the finest views of St Ives Harbour and the seafront.
Enjoy all the action of the lifeboat being launched as she simulates rescue trials in St Ives bay, or watch the fishing boats deposit their catch of fish at Smeaton’s Pier. In high summer relax with local Cornish Silver Bands and Choirs as they entertain you during the early evening.
St Ives is renowned for the high quality of its beaches and restaurants, many of which are a short walk from the apartment, as well as the main shopping streets.
Guaranteed Secure Covered Parking for medium / large car
Large front room directly overlooking the Lifeboat Slipway and Harbour;
2 x en-suite double bedrooms;
King Size Bed in Bedroom 1;
Large SMART TV (with NETFLIX) on wall in front room;
TVs in each bedroom;
The Parking space is in a secure covered area reasonably close to the flat - shown on a map within the Photo Gallery. It is of a standard size and Photos in the Gallery show an E-class Mercedes parked in the space. There is a metal stanchion on one side and a wall on the other of the space, so care needs to be taken when parking. The Owners can accept no liability for any damage or theft caused by any reason within the garage.
The entrance to the flat is at the rear on a Service Road, where there are some bins from the local restaurants.
The flat contains a really light and spacious living / dining room with a wide bay window through which visitors can enjoy watching the lifeboat being launched, listen to the bands and choirs performing on the pier, or simply try to spot the seals coming in on the tide following the fishermen home in the hope of a share of their catch. WIFI is available and a 42inch SMART TV on the wall which has NETFLIX installed.
The modern fitted kitchen contains integral ceramic hob, oven, integral fridge, integral washer / drier and integral microwave.
Both Bedrooms are en-suite doubles with showers – Bedroom 1 having a King Size bed.
The shops and restaurants are all in close proximity as are the numerous Art Galleries and Craft Workshops. The Barbara Hepworth Museum is located nearby as is the Tate opened by The Prince of Wales in 1993.
Strolling behind the seafront into a warren of cobbled streets, alleyways and courtyards which formerly housed the fishermen of St Ives you will discover streets with unusual names: Mount Zion, Love Street, Virgin Street, Salubrious Place, Bethesda Hill and, of course, Teetotal Street; all reminiscent of St Ives strong Methodist and Temperance tradition.
All the main beaches of the town are within easy walking distance. Porthmeor is only a five minute walk and particularly popular with the more adventurous who want to surf. Porthminster and Porthgwidden are lovely family beaches and both boast excellent Beach Restaurants and Barbecues.
If, however, you want to feel the sand under your toes but don’t need a walk then the Harbour Beach is just yards away under your living room windows. St Ives is an excellent centre for walking – the coastal pathways to Zennor and Carbis Bay are spectacular but the less energetic might feel equally relaxed taking a gentle stroll along the seafront, watching the sun set over St Ives Bay.

About Dave Beaumont
Marilyn and Dave have lived in Nottingham since 1974, and are now both retired from working. They met at Perransands Holiday Camp in 1969 where Dave worked behind the bar and Marilyn in the shop. Marilyn spends much time looking after the grandchildren, who live nearby, and Dave tries to play golf and is still an active rugby referee.
Dave Beaumont purchased this Apartment in 1999
Why Dave Beaumont chose St Ives
Marilyn's father was born and bred in St Ives which is why they bought the flat. They and their 2 daughters have holidayed every year in St Ives from 1988. We originally bought a Fishermans Cottage in Carncrows St, but fell in love with the flat, because of its amazing view.

Great flat in a wonderful location
The flat is a great place to enjoy St Ives,
The flat itself is well presented, very clean with great facilities.
The location gives great views of the harbour and puts you in the heart of St Ives within 25 yards of the door.
The parking spot is an added bonus that makes the stay hassle free.
Nice place, amazing location
We stayed for 10 days over Easter, 2 adults and 2 children (aged 6 and 7). We were warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. The parking space is just up the road (we fitted our T5 van into the space) and you're surrounded by shops, restaurants and beaches. It can be difficult to get out of the lounge - the view is just too hard to walk away from!
Great position right on the harbour with a fantastic view. Clean, modern and well equipped. Added benefit of having its own parking space in a nearby private car park.
Good morning sunrise
Beautiful apartment perfect spot to sit relax and watch the sunrise, the waves and the world go by.
Absolutely lovely apartment with stunning views.
The apartment is clean and comfy with everything you need for self catering. The beds are soooooooo comfy. You cannot move yourself away from the window and the gorgeous view. Loved staying here. Was sad to leave. Handy space at the back for loading and unloading car away from the road and parking space is within easy walking distance. 5 stars all round!
Very clean. Comfortable with everything you need on the doorstep!
Perfect location. Very clean property. Will definitely visit again.
