The cottage forms part of a traditional stone terrace of cottages in the heart of the North Pennines close to magnificent uninterrupted un-spoilt rural views across farmland and moorland. Watch the magnificent wildlife found in the area or why not take a trip to the nearby Hamsterley Forest with miles of walks and cycle tracks providing a real get away from it all destination. With a lovely riverside picnic and play area complete with paddling opportunities nearby and a heated outdoor swimming pool in Stanhope there are plenty of family fun packed days to be had locally. A visit to High Force waterfall in Teesdale is a must and only a short drive away. Why not take a winter get away and go enjoy a spot of skiing in Westgate. The Dales Centre at Stanhope is just a short 10 minute drive and the Weardale Railway where during the lead up to the Festive period you can ride the Weardale Train are a 10 minute drive away. A warm welcome awaits as you enter into the cosy lounge/diner with an inviting open fire stunning traditional flagged floor covered with beautiful rugs TV/DVD cottage style furnishings and chairs. There is a bookcase with games and books to enjoy after a busy day exploring. Off from the lounge a traditional pine door takes you through to a utility room with coat hooks boot rack washing machine freezer and ample space to store your bicycles. Another pine door takes you through to the traditional cottage kitchen with electric oven and hob fridge and microwave and a door leading out to the rear garden. A cottage style staircase leads to the first floor take time to admire the view from the landing window and here you find a double bedroom and the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. A further cottage style staircase leads to a twin bedroom with magnificent views from the Velux window. Heading outside there is off-road parking for one car a small enclosed garden to the front of the property with a garden seat to enjoy watching the world go by. To the rear of the property is a small pretty enclosed garden enjoy the gorgeous views from the table and chairs with a coffee or glass of wine.
