About Thad and Connie
The winters are long in Michigan and our summer days and nights on the lake are cherished. Since we must work to pay for our get-away, on days we can't enjoy it, we have decided to open it up to others to enjoy with their families. We hope you can find an open spot on the calendar that works for your vacation plans.
Why Thad and Connie chose Springport
It’s a beautiful and serene spot we hope you enjoy as much as we do. Narrow Lake / Springport is located right in the heart of Michigan. Tucked away from the noise of cities and highways, Serenity Now cottage is a place to get away from it all. Take a look at the photos and picture yourself on the expansive deck with a cocktail while the sun sets. A kayak ride to the Narrows to visit the herons and swans is my most favorite way to spend a day.
What makes this Cottage unique
Narrow Lake is a 93-acre lake, large enough for water recreation, boating, jet skiing, water skiing, kayaking, and canoeing. The no-wake zone, known as the Narrows, is a serene spot perfect for fishing. A public boat launch is located on the opposite side of the lake from Serenity Now cottage. Renters are welcome to bring their own boats and dock them right in front of the cottage. We have a spot across from the cottage where you can park your boat trailer. Serenity Now cottage is a sweet and quaint cottage off the beaten path yet close enough to towns and attractions. This is not a Hilton with marble sinks and connoisseur service, it’s a small, clean family cottage with most of the comforts of home and lots of outdoor fun.

It was perfect to stay at while coming home for my sister’s wedding with 2 dogs. We were able to have our own place away from both sets of parents but still super close to them to visit. It was the perfect little set up.
Thank you for your review. We are glad you both - and the dogs - were able to enjoy the cottage. We hope you will return again and we will plan to have some sunshine for you!
Beautiful sunsets and good fishing
Gorgeous sunsets. Caught lots of bluegill from the dock. Quiet and peaceful. Dog friendly was a huge plus.
Thank you, we are happy you enjoyed your stay. We hope you choose Serenity Now again sometime.
restful lake cottage
A wonderful cozy cottage on a quiet lake was exactly what I wanted and exactly what I got. The house was clean and cute. Kitchen was adequately stocked with lots of bowls and cups of varying sizes, a few pots and pans, spices and a few pantry staples. The bedroom is just big enough for the bed and one suitcase on the small dresser. We made use of the firepit, grill, boat dock, Netflix and AC, although it was too hot outside to enjoy the deck. Location is private and peaceful away from traffic. Loved the cottage, fishing, and relaxing. Perfect for a couple or small family.
Thank you, Tashina, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay and brought your boat to make the most use of the lake and fishing. It was nice to meet you and your husband, we hope you will choose Serenity Now Cottage again!
Wonderful little property, on a beautiful lake!!!
Peace and quiet
We were able to get away with no distractions. A lovely view and adorable cottage with a friendly host. Kayaking, fishing and sunset viewing were top on our list and all were checked off each day.
So pleased you were all able to enjoy Serenity Now! You are the ideal guests every VRBO host desires. We hope you will return. Enjoy the rest of the summer!
This was the perfect get away for my sister and I to go and relax. The view of the lake from the deck was beautiful!
Thank you Mariah! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will come again!
