About David Williams
Hi, my name is David Williams, my family have lived in this area for several generations. I attended the small school in Glynogwr which has now been converted to a family home. I am married with one child and have lived in Glynogwr for the past 20 years. I am originally from a farming background and have diversified into the self-catering holiday let business with the support of my wife and daughter. I love the area and am only too happy for other people to come and appreciate what South Wales has to offer. I am very keen to make sure you have a personalised holiday experience rather than the cold packaged experiences offered by larger companies. I will always be available to help and assist you in any way possible; from suggested things to do and practical arrangements e.g. taxis, bookings and reservations.
David Williams purchased this Cabin in 2017
Why David Williams chose Bridgend
I believe that these log cabins offer a unique holiday experience in terms of the quality of the accommodation and the exceptionally beautiful and relaxing location. The outside decked area with its hot tub/jacuzzi is an ideal place to relax after spending the day exploring all that Wales has to offer.

Stayed here for the weekend celebrating a hen party ,enjoyed every minute ,log cabins were lovely and clean ,Dave the owner made us feel very welcome would definitely stay again
Lovely modern cabins in beautiful location
We had a great time in the cabins, they comfortably accommodated our party of 13. Great views and peaceful location. Clean, modern accommodation that was a perfect base for our long weekend visit.
The log cabins were perfect for our family stay and was in a good location for our itinery.
All the family enjoyed staying at the Glynogwr Lodge log cabins, they were clean and comfortable. We had to share the amenities from each cabin and could of done with more crockery and frying pans, but that said, we still had a great time and David was very helpful and on hand if we'd needed him. My daughter loved the chickens (we have 8 at home) and the horse, which was friendly. The views were lovely, whatever the weather the cabins were warm & cosy.
Thanks for a great stay David, from all the Foroozan family.
Excellent facility, top guy who rents the cabins.
Great weekend for the Wales vs England rugby. Group of 11 who shared the lodges. Excellent facilities and views are absolute stunning.
Enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful cabins with beautiful views
The cabins were a lot more spacious than we expected - they really are gorgeous and the views are great. There were 14 of us and we had more than enough space and the hot tub was an added bonus.
Would definitely recommend.
Thanks David! :-)
Thank you very much for your kind comments. My wife and family really appreciate the nice feed back.
